I agree with the comment bellow. Translation can get nasty at some points. DIfferent words will portray different meanings, so.

If you do allow it to be translated, you should ask someone that speaks the same language to read it for you, so you can monitor if nothing gets changed in such a way you don't like.
And with translating stories, you can translate it in tons of different ways. Do you want it translated in such a way it comes as close as possible to the original, or do you allow the translator some liberty in the way he/she translates?
