When there is an Author's Note in a chapter, do you find it more comfortable to read it if:

  • A) It's at the beginning of the chapter, because it's the first thing I see.   (5 votes)
  • B) It's at the end of the chapter, because I want to read the chapter first.   (20 votes)
  • C) It doesn't matter, I rarely read the Author's note.   (3 votes)

I personally prefer reading author's notes when they're at the end of a chapter,,,,because i'd probably have something to say about them? and reading them BEFORE the actual chapter might make it harder for me to mhhhdhdhd answer(??) I AT EXPLAINING THINGS but i'd probably forget about the message/what I had to say by the end of the chapter ,, without giving the writer's comment as much importance as i wanted to ;;; or on the other hand i might pay less attention to the story itself!!

But i alwaysalwaysalways read Authors' Notes ;; wherever they are ;;

It depends on the reason for the note for me.
- if the note is something to keep in mind about that chapter, maybe put it first
- if it's something else, the end of the chapter is better
