I’m a student who doesn’t work, I just have the money my parents give so I can buy food and for the bus. I’m so sorry 😢

WAIT!!! I feel horribly guilty, but I want to explain my vote:

I know for a fact that some of the voters here who voted that they can't afford it really can, but just want a free ride. I honestly can't afford to join the crowdfund group. I have too many authors that I would LOVE to support (I hear that support can be as low as $1.00 a month), but, as a para educator, I really only make $800.00 a month and with mortgage, water, waste removal, internet/cable/phone service, cell phone and electricity, as well as gas, groceries, health insurance, caring for my pets and car insurance, I am strapped for ANY kind of cash. I haven't even mentioned clothing, car repairs, home repairs and, God please no, unexpected appliance breakdowns or vet bills.
I would LOVE to crowdfund, NOT because I want to read the stories earlier than others, but because you authors truly deserve compensation for your obvious talent! When I come home after working from 7am to 6pm, most days, the enjoyment of reading stories here on AFF makes all the issues of the day, from jammed copiers to kids cussing me out, just melt away. Most of the authors here, yourself included, have absolutely NO IDEA just how wonderful you are to readers like me. Your content is GOLD and I feel so treasured that you would put your soul into every tome here!! You are worth it....MORE than worth being paid the pittance they ask us for to join.

But I just can't afford it. I feel sick everytime I think about it; I really do! The only thing I can do is say thank you on site and thank you in my heart a million times. I hope that you get thousands, if not MILLIONS, of crowdfund supporters!!!I really wish I could be one. I am so sorry, trust me.
