If an AFF discussion turns negative (be it towards another user or the creator themself) is it right that the creator deletes the discussion?

Everyone involved in the discussion can do or say anything they want. If the creator wants to delete the discussion they are allowed to do so. If others want to keep discussing the issue, then they can start a new discussion.
