Is a stranded island based fanfic a "boring" or concept?

I'm simply curious as I really haven't seen many to any fanfictions centered around the idea of being stranded. I had an idea for one as a BTS fic; however, despite many twists and ideas, I'm not sure it's a something to go through with. So I'm curious. ;;
