No. I don't want to sound like a racist but in my opinion non-asians don't suit in the Kpop industry at all. I know that not all idols are korean, some are also thai or chinese but they are still asian.
Kpop is associated with asians so i can't imagine non-asians there and it also would not be the same anymore.
I think to Kpop there is more than just being able to speak korean >.<
The thing about Little Mix is that they are not a considered a k-pop group. They just sang in Korean. It's still pretty cool how they sang in Korean though
I'd also like to remind some commenters that KPOP doesn't mean you have to be Korean because then how about JPOP? Younha is technically 100% Korean, but she promoted in Japan (as a soloist) and because she did it so much and because of the style and because it was sUNG IN JAPANESE, her music was considered JPOP. Even though she's Korean.
(maybe some people in the comments are Asian isers or something because kpop just means a particular style and language - not the Ethnicity of the artists)
I'm not too sure tbh.
I mean with American pop you don't gotta be American you just gotta promote in America, so I don't know what the other commenters are going on about. Thing is, Korea is very different.
I don't think a fully non-asian group would go down well with Koreans at all, and since they're going to be marketed for Korea, although it would be great to see, I doubt they'll be getting much love or they'llve ridiculed. I don't think many companies would take such a big risk as to cast ALL non-asians.
