Chapter 42: I don't think that font is suitable for the poster.
And Kai looks a bit awkward. But the blending was good. The textures look great, though.
Chapter 42: I dislike the font choice. I think it's too harsh for this poster.
I, personally, prefer to see "romantic" as a light / soft blend, this one was a tad too dark for me.
I always use bokeh on my romantic posters , to help light it and add a nice, pretty texture.

Chapter 1: I have the same question as Wallflower606 below; How'd you start blending? Did you use the eraser tool? What mode? I tried doing what you did but it didn't erase, it doesn't become transparent... please help. T T

i was wondering if you could help me out on my problem with gimp. :(
so i'm using the version 2.8.2.
okay so everytime i use the square select tool to select something then click "ctrl +i" to invert the selection, and then delete it.
now whenever i go to copy and paste an image into gimp, it copies the selection i just deleted previously.. :( and no matter how many times i re-copy the image it keeps pasting the previously deleted selection. oAo ;____;
help please? ;uu;

Um, I got to the part where i dragged the picture i wanted to the canvas...
then I didn't understand how you started blending?
Did you use the eraser tool? In what mode? (the mode thingy doesn't work for me T_T I can't click it)
And it doesn't become transparent in mine T_T
