Can you replace Google for me please? Because it's no help...

So I've been thinking about something this afternoon, and suddenly phantoms popped up in my mind. I wanted to know more about them, so I searched them up on Google, but 9 out of 10 pages were about either movies or the Phantom of The Opera, and that one exception contains nothing useful at all. So can you please help me? I'd like to get to know phantoms a little better. Like, what they actually are, what their are purposes (I mean it like some creatures "exist" to eat your souls, while others wanna kill you, etc.), and things like that.
So basically, I need basic infos about phantoms. I'm actually thinking about writing a fic about them, involving k-pop of course, but I can't do anything until I know at least the basics about them.... ^^"

http://www.phantomsandmonsters.com. This is the best blog on real life experiences with phantoms. It is a great way to read up on it and you can also ask the author questions.

Tip: Use this symbol "-" before a word that you don't want included. For example, Phantom -Phantom of the Opera

@whitelie Cool. You can check out any list of mythical creatures online. And yeah, werewolves and vampires are way too overused. Making up a new creature is a great idea! All the best :D

@mirrue I love all three of them, but I'll probably go with mythical creatures. No werewolves or any too common ones, though. I'd like to create something different from the others~

@whitelie Yeah. Ghost has many alternate names. Are you planning to write a story with fantasy, supernatural or mythical creatures?

If I'm not mistaken, "phantom" is another name for "ghost". Pretty much, if you googled ghost, there will be a heap of websites you can refer to.
