Which group should I write about?

I'm in trouble, I have perfect idea but I don't know any suitable idols for it. My story is about physics and it happens mostly in a lab and observatory. I'd like to write about men but I can also do women since the topic is pretty difficult. I would like to have one group so a group with 4-8 members would be good one. They should be smart and calm and suitable for making a huge scientifical founding in the area of microcosmos that will change our beliefs about the universum forever. So, um, yeah, no pressure.

@hotseven I haven't listened a lot of Infinite or GOT7, but since I'm already doing a lot of research, if there's other professors from those groups.

@Armyster i know right hahaha i see that you already know the female lead. i think infinite sunggyu would fit the criteria, i've read a teacher/professor sunggyu fic and i can picture it just fine, the same thing goes with got7's mark too (which is a bit surprising but i can picture it) lol

@hotseven I like BTS, Bigbang, Blackpink, Twice and Red Velvet and to be honest, I see those people in the lab only making a world end >.< It's very difficult to make them into a serious situation, so making them work in a lab is impossible.

@AceJulie I love f(x), I might take Luna as my female lead, now I only need male lead who is like supersmart, few of his co-workers and a long term friend, who takes physics as a joke. I'd love to have all males from the same group, otherwise it'll be very confusing.

I also borrowed not just one or two but three books about the universe and I might ask my physics teacher to correct my mistakes and I have almost the whole plot planned, all I need is my characters :'DDD

i... have no idea.. man i can't really picture my idols in a science lab lol they're all dorks
just pick any group you like?

BAP..? I mean it feels like a bunch of gangster at work but xD they really have that calm and smart look to them~ For a girl group maybe 9 Muse or KARD if you want a coed group.

SHINee, for sure! minho and onew have acted in dramas as doctors, so you'd have lots of reference pictures ^^ also, they have a very intelligent aura around them and there are so many otps to choose from hahah

Maybe a group that may have a childish site, but looks and has a mature image like SHINee. Or Infinite. EXO could work as well, especially if we think about the Lucky One MV that has the artificial feel of a lab.

A good girl group would be Girls Generation if we consider the mature image and the popularity of them on this site. GG also had a concept were they were doctors (Mr. Mr. MV).
I could see Mamamoo as the characters with a great physics knowledge as well.

Those are the idol groups I could image to have a lap coat on and working in a lab.

Groups I just couldn't image working in a lab would be Twice, Gfriend, Red Velvet, NCT, BTS, GOT7 (only some members), IKON etc. Some of them have still the young and childlike feel, they don't have the maturity feel and image to them that I would need to image them in a lab. Hip hop concepts don't really work in the favour of the plot in my opinion.

Winner and F (x) would suit the story as well.
