Lights flashed before your eyes, different sounds caught your attention turning every which way trying to find where they were coming from. Visitors slowly trying to find ways around everyone else, a hand gently held onto yours slightly tightening around yours as an attempt to keep you from getting lost in the crowd.

“Which one should we do first, jagiya?” Your boyfriend looked around at the arcade type games once the two of you found a less crowded place to stop and look around a little.

“Which one looks fun to you?” You turned and looked at him as his brown eyes scanned the fun games lining the large streets in the amusement park.

“What about that one?” Hoya pointed to a brightly colored booth that didn’t have much of a line.

“That looks good” You nodded as the two of you started to head over to the booth.

Arriving at the booth, you smiled seeing it was a gun type of game. Hoya pulled out his wallet and handed over the exact amount of money as he grabbed a gun resting in a holster as you did the same. Bringing the gun up with both hands, the worker happily started the machine as the two of you began to rack up points. Digital numbers added up on your side and Hoya’s before the buzzer sounded and the two of you placed the guns back in their place before looking up at your scores.

“I won!” You smiled and pumped your fist against the air in victory

“Just by a few points” Hoya smirked as he thanked the man before the two of you started to wonder around and try other games around as well. The two of you tied at the basketball shooting game then at the bottle toss game too.

“What game should we try next?” You swung your linked hands together as he carefully looked around seeing if there was won that he could win.

“Let’s go over to this one” He happily pulled you along as you couldn’t help but smile once you arrived at a one person game.

Stuffed animals hung over head as you just smiled to yourself as Hoya payed for yet another game and picked up the darts. Hitting as many balloons as he could, his tongue ran along his bottom lip for concentration. Once he ran out of darts, his score was tallied and Hoya smiled at you proudly.

“Sir, you can choose a stuffed animal” The man behind the game smiled as Hoya and you lifted your eyes to the many animals filling the top of the booth.

“Which one do you want, cutie?” Hoya shifted his eyes to you as you were still looking through the animals.

“You won though” You reminded him as he nodded

“I want you to choose” He placed his hand on your back and rubbed it gently as you chose one of the animals. The man pulled it down for you and handed it over to Hoya before he kissed your cheek and held it out for you.

“A boyfriend has to get a stuffed animal for you eventually, it is in the boyfriend code” Hoya chuckled to himself. Blushing, you took the teddy bear, you chose, and held it in your arms thanking the man before walking off.

Wondering around the park a little, your eyes followed the screaming rides that whizzed over your head. enjoying the little trinket shops and food stands that were brightly painted and whimsical.

“Do you want some ice cream? It is a little warm today” Hoya questioned feeling his stomach tighten with hunger as his thumb gently rubbed against your hand to get your attention.

“That would be great, I was getting a little hungry” You giggled holding the teddy bear on your hip.

“Wait right here and I will get it for you” Hoya turned to you and smiled, slipping his hand out of your before trotting into the ice cream store that was painted in several shades of his favorite color, purple.

Looking around slowly, you eased yourself down on the wooden bench as you set your teddy bear down next to you, crossing your legs, you looked around and started to think of what rides you wanted to go on next. Soft whimpers were heard next to you as you slowly turned your head to see what was making such a sad noise.

A little boy’s legs dangled off the edge of the wooden bench, his head was dropped as his small chin almost touched his chest, slowly tears ran down his cheeks and dripped off of his chin onto his hands clutched in his lap.

“Why are you crying, bud?” You leaned forward trying to catch the little boy’s attention.

“I-I-I’m l-l-l-l-lost” His quivering voice told all as you slowly moved from your seat and knelt down before him.

“Where were you with them last?” You leaned your hand right beside him on the bench as you gave him a friendly smile.

“O-O-Over by t-t-the balloon c-cart” The little boy shakily pointed in the direction where he got separated from them.

“Well what do you say we go and find them?” You patted his leg gently, watching his head tilt upwards.

“Y-You mean it?” He asked, his cheeks wet with tears as you nodded with a smile.

“Let’s go find them, I just have to wait for a friend of mine so he can help us too” You smile and move to the spot next to him, placing the teddy bear on your lap.

“I like your teddy bear” The little boy smiled as he started to play with the bear as you waited for Hoya to return.

A few minutes later, you and the little boy had bonded a little staying where Hoya had left you. Exiting the store with your favorite ice cream flavor in one hand and his double berry, purple ice cream in the other, he slipped through the crowd and smiled once he found you sitting right where he had left you.

“Jagiya, I have our ice cream cones” He smiled and held out your cone for you, slipping your hand around the cone, you took it from him with a smile.

“Thank you so much” You smiled and your cone, humming at the creamy heavenly taste that spread out along your tongue.

“Is this your friend?” The little boy looked up at Hoya standing in front of you as you nodded and hummed as a yes.

“Who’s this?” Hoya carefully knelt down and gently smiled at the little boy careful not to scare him.

“I-I’m Tanner” The little boy told him as he slowly came out from behind your arm.

“He was lost and I told him I would help him find them” You looked at Hoya as he just smiles and his ice cream cone thinking over what you were telling him.

“Then we will find your parents” Hoya nods to Tanner, slowly moving from behind your arm, he slid off of the bench and wiped his tears from his cheeks.

Standing up on your feet you hold out your hand for him to take. His smaller hand slipped into yours as you grabbed your teddy bear and set it on your hip before you started through the crowd in the direction to where he last saw his parents.

“Do you see them anywhere?” You slowly turn around so your eyes can scan everyone in the vicinity.

Seeing Tanner struggle from his small form only seeing only legs from his point of view, Hoya knelt down and smiled at Tanner, “How about if you sit on my shoulders? Then maybe you can see better?”

Tanner nodded gently as you helped him climb onto Hoya’s shoulders. Standing back up, Hoya stood upright as you patted Tanner’s back making sure he was okay from the new height.

“Do you see them?” You question, scanning the faces that were passing you as well.

“No…” His small voice shook as he rounded his back letting his fingers lightly play with Hoya’s hair.

“Then maybe we need some more eyes to help us” Hoya suggested as you nodded, Holding onto Tanner’s feet, the three of you headed over to one of the park officers that was stationed in the area, standing next to one of the popular rides.

“Excuse me, this little guy got separated from his parents” Hoya started as the officer took out a pad of paper and began asking questions to Hoya and Tanner trying to help them as much as he could. Exchanging information, Tanner gave them a description of his parents as the officers called his other buddies to search the park for the lost parents.

“You guys can enjoy the park, Tanner can stay here with me” The officer said once he got all of the information he needed. Hoya slipped his hands under Tanner’s arms and lifted him up and over his head.

“Can’t I stay with you?” Tanner asked you with his pleading large eyes, holding Hoya’s few fingers tighter..

“We could look for his parents some more rather than him staying here?” You offered as you looked at Hoya then the officer.

“If we give you a number can you call me when you hear anything? We could look around and help you guys too” Hoya offered to the officer as he thought for a moment before he nodded and wrote down Hoya’s number.

The three of you headed off as Tanner’s hands linked you and Hoya together, walking around a little, the three of you tried to look around before Tanner started to get a little bored and drag his feet. Noticing that you were pulling him along a little more, you stopped and leaned over to Hoya whispering into his ear as he turned to you and smiled, placing a quick kiss on your cheek.

“Tanner, what do you say to a ride or two while we wait for the call? We can go on any ride you want” You knelt down and offered your idea to him, his brown eyes quickly lit up with happiness as he couldn’t help but clap his hands tightly and bounce around a little on his feet.

“Which ride do you want to do first bud?” Hoya ruffled Tanner’s hair with a chuckle

“Merry-Go-Round!” Tanner announced happily as you couldn’t help but agree.

“Good choice” You laugh with him as the three of you walk over to the carousel and wait in line a moment or two before you were allowed on the ride.

Helping Tanner find a horse first, you buckled him in before you found a horse close to him and mounted the beautiful painted stallion. Hoya mounted the horse next to you as he smiled and leaned over ruffling your hair. Before you could do anything back to him the ride started to move and spin around happily as the cheery music started to play overhead. Keeping your eyes on Tanner for most of the ride then on Hoya, you couldn’t help but smile having more fun than you had thought.

As the ride ended, you unbuckled yourself and slipped off the horse as Hoya followed behind you as you then helped Tanner. Placing him on your hip, you exited the ride making sure Hoya was holding your teddy bear.

“Where do you want to go now?” You walked a little more letting him see more of the rides in the kid’s section.

“What about the tea cups?” He smiled brightly and pointed over to the brightly painted cups that spun around the large tea pot in the middle.

“Alright, we will go do that one” You happily reply heading over that way with Hoya following closely behind.

Arriving at the gate of the tea cups, you wait a little in the long line as the two of you get to know Tanner a little more. Finding out that he loves space ships and Buzz LIghtyear, you all talked about stars and the moon and what he wanted to become when he grew up which was, obviously, an astronaut or a space ranger.

Loading into the tea cups, the three of you found a purple on with green accents making Tanner and Hoya very happy with their two favorite colors. Hoya locked the small door behind you and Tanner as each of you took your seats. Soon enough the ride began to move as the tea cup started to slowly spin around.

“Should we spin a little faster Tanner?” You questioned, leaning forward and grabbing a hold of the wheel in the center of the cup.

“Faster is always better!” Tanner happily leaned forward and began to help pull the cup faster and faster.

“Yah, you two better slow down or we will get dizzy” Hoya warned, feeling a little uneasy about going fast in the ride.

“Ah come on Hoya, it is fun! Faster!” Tanner smiled as the two of you spun the cup faster and faster.

“Slow down!” Hoya laughed as he reached out and tried to counteract your pulling motions.

“You can’t beat us! We are really strong!” Tanner flexed his arms as Hoya made a quick attack with his fingers to Tanner’s stomach tickling him and letting the sound of his sweet laughter fill the tea cup.

“Go faster_____! Faster!” Tanner demanded through his laughter as you pulled the tea cup faster and faster.

Snapping his eyes to you, Hoya quickly left Tanner’s body and his wiggling fingers found your sides as you brought your arms against you and tried to push away his tickles as you laid down on the seats of the tea cup laughing loudly at his merciless tickles.

The ride eventually slowed down as the two of you tried to get Hoya a few times, tickling him a little, the three of you exited the cup and happily trotted around the kids’ section a little longer as Tanner rode on a space ship and a train ride while the two of you stayed behind the gates watching him happily.

Ringing sounded from Hoya’s phone after a couple of hours or riding kid rides, pulling his phone out of his pocket he answered it politely. Nodding his head and humming to the person on the other line, he agreed that they would be there soon. Dropping the phone from his ear, he ended the call and returned his phone back to his pocket.

“Was that the officer?” You asked seeing Tanner exit the train ride and trot over to the two of you.

“Yeah, they have found his parents” Hoya looked into your eyes as the two of you heard the pattering feet slow coming closer to you. “They want us to come as soon as we can.”

Feeling a small hand slip into yours you shifted your eyes down to him as you saw his large eyes look up at you.

“I got a call they have found your parents, do you want to go see?” Hoya knelt down and rubbed Tanner’s shoulder gently.

“You sure?” Tanner asked shakily as Hoya nodded his head with a comforting smile.

A little while later the three of you made it to the officers’ station, Hoya opened the door for the two of you as Hoya held Tanner’s hand and lead him inside. Once Tanner made it inside, he looked up to see both of his parents sitting in the chairs. His parents turned around once the bell hit the window of the door.

“Tanner!” His mother called as she stood up from her seat and ran over to him. Letting go of his hand Hoya moved over to your side as he wrapped his arm around you, watching Tanner hug his mother and his father that came over shortly after.

“Thank you for all your help” The officer came over and patted Hoya’s shoulder bowing to the two of you.

“It was no trouble at all” You smiled and bowed back as Tanner finished hugging his parents before he came back over to the two of you and bowed.

“Thank you both for everything I had a lot of fun with you two” Tanner bowed as you knelt down and hugged him tightly.

“I had a lot of fun with you too” You whispered against his hair as you hugged him tightly. Breaking the hug with you, Tanner moved over to Hoya and hugged him as well, whispering something to him as Hoya just smiled and ruffled his hair.

“Be good and try and keep track of your parents, they can be a little sneaky” Hoya winked standing back up to his feet.

Bidding goodbye as well as accepting the parent;s thanks and gratitude, the two of you headed out of the office. Taking in a deep breath, Hoya kissed your cheek gently as the two of you wondered around the park a little and munching on some cotton candy as the two of you noticed the sun descending in the sky.

“Do you want to go on the Farris wheel? It may be our last ride of the night” Hoya offered as your eyes watched the lights on the large wheel spin around as you smiled.

“That sounds wonderful” You smiled and headed over to stand in the line. Getting into the box of the Farris wheel, you sat on one side as Hoya sat right next to you.

The box started to move upwards as you smiled at the butterflies originating in your stomach from the ride. A hand gently rubbed against your shoulder before you rested your head on your boyfriend’s strong shoulder.

“It was fun to see you with Tanner today” You whisper taking some of the cotton candy and guiding it between your lips.

“Not as fun as seeing you with him” Hoya smiled brightly as he kissed your temple sweetly feeling blush come across his cheeks.

Cotton candy melted on your tongue as you hummed feeling your cheeks start to grow with warmth. Hoya’s brown eyes lovingly gazed down at you, noticing a little cotton candy stick to your lips. A thumping in his chest seemed really convincing as he couldn’t help but lean forward, lift your chin up slightly then press his lips gently against yours.

The warm lips pressed against yours, a little surprised at the sudden action, you squeaked a little as his lips slowly moved on your lips, tasting the sugar that lingered on them. Fluttering your eyes closed, your arms gently slipped up and around his neck, allowing you to pull yourself closer to him and him to you. His kind lips slowly pulled on yours, relaxing in his arms, your lips slowly started to dance with his causing him to smile. Pulling away just slightly, he ran his fingers slowly through your hair.

“You are going to make some man very happy someday” Hoya pressed his lips against your shortly before pulling away once more,”You are also going to be a wonderful mother”

“Thank you” You whispered breathlessly as your eyes opened slightly “You will make some lady very happy and there is no doubt that you will be an amazing father”

Exchanging a few more kisses and compliments between each other, the ride came to an end. Exiting the little gondolas, the two of you slowly made your way tho the entrance, passing by the once active rides your fingers laced with Hoya’s.

“I had a lot of fun today” Hoya remarked passing through the front gates

“I did too, we should come back soon and go on some of the scarier rides” You teased as you wrapped your arm around his waist and his arm around yours while you walked back to his car.

Opening the door, you slipped into the passenger seat before Hoya closed the door behind you. Making his way around the hood of your car, he opened his door and slid behind the wheel. Turning the key and revving the engine, Hoya pulled out and began to head home.

Feeling your eyelids start to drop over your eyes, you rested your head on Hoya’s shoulder and began to fall asleep to his soft singing to various songs on the radio. The weight on his shoulder curled a smile onto his lips, wrapping his free hand around yours, he slowly brushed his thumb over your knuckles as he saw that you were sleeping on him. Driving slowly and carefully, he made sure to keep the car ride smooth as the two of you drove back home while the memories of the day and the hopes of the future flooded your mind with dreams.
