Why Passing Notes In Class Ought To Be Prohibited
By: Jung Soojung, Class 1B
First and foremost, the term passing notes in class is an act where two students communicate during a class—usually a lesson that is boring—through the usage of paper and pen. Two students have to work together for passing notes to work. One student will not do, as it is stupid to write notes to yourself. Sometimes, there can be a third party as well, a third student who will act as the center of those two students aforementioned. He or she will then cooperate with the two students and become their center person when notes are being passed. Usually, passing notes only occur if there is an important and urgent discussion needed, or if that person is just plain bored.
Getting into our actual point, passing notes in class ought to be prohibited because it is distracting to the other students. Not that it can be helped if they’re nerds. This may cause them to be inattentive when the teacher is teaching because obviously watching notes being passed is much more fun and therefore, they will not be able to catch what the teacher is teaching. If this happens in a long run, the students who are distracted will then fall back in class, and their future will be tainted. They will not be able to attain their goals in life, for example, getting tickets to prom graduating with flying colors, causing social distress and morality despair. This is reason number one on why we shouldn’t pass notes in
