2 Weeks Later

Balanced Out

Ravi's Perspective

Shoot, where did I put that damn peice of paper?!?

My room was a complete mess because I had forgotten where I put the paper with that girl's number.

Maybe it was still in the pair of pants I wore that day.

I looked through my dirty laundry basket and couldn't find it.

Leo saw me looking while walking by.

Leo: Looking for something?

"Yeah, remember that girl from that coffee shop two weeks ago? Well, I lost her number and todays the only day I've got off. I thought it was in my pants but I can't find those either. "

Leo: I washed them, and her name is Na Young. How could you forget?

"It's been two weeks cut me some slack, I barely remember what I ate this morning.

Leo: You didn't eat, we never eat in the morning.

He's trying to distract me for some reason.

This is the most Leo would talk even if he wanted to.

I got up and walked over to him.

"Where... is... it?"

Leo: Dryer.

I ran over to the dryer and grabbed the pants, only to feel a soggy and mushy blob in my pocket.

Thats no longer paper.

"Damn it! Now I'll never see her again."

N over hears my cry of dissapointment.

N: See who???

He's giving me the funniest look that pulls me from my sadness.

"This girl from the coffee shop that we met."

N thinks for a moment and shrugs.

N: I don't remember going to a coffee shop.

"Of course you don't, only Leo and I went with some camera guys."

N: Oh, well, why don't you just go back there?

No no, that won't work...

"Or will it?"

I quickly got ready and rushed out the dorm hearing N shout from behind.

N: Will what!!!?

"Tell you later!"

I went to the coffee shop.

Oops, its not open today.

Right when I turned around, I heard a familiar voice.

Na Young: Sorry, we're not open to- Ravi? What are you doing here? And how come you never called me?

Wow, three questions at once.

" Why are you hear when the place is closed?"

Na Young: Our espresso machine broke and it was supposed to arrive this evening.

I looked at my phone.

"It's, like, half past noon. You have plenty of time."

Na Young: Hey, don't change subjects answer my questions.

Oh crap, think of something smooth.

Something smooth...

Na Young's Perspective

It had been two weeks, he should have just told me if he wasn't interested.

I can tell he is trying to thinkup some dumb excuse.

I bet he's going to say he lost it in the laundry or it magically dissappeared in his room.

Ravi: I was super busy.

Yeah right, I roll my eyes.

Ravi: I'm serious, don't you know who I am?

"Answer my question first."

I crossed my arms at him.

Ravi: I was on tour for a concert in Japan. I'm part of an idol group called Vixx. Today was my only day off, so I was going to call you for that date. But, I-

I?

Looking at Ravi, I sighed ready to hear his excuse.

Ravi: I-instead of calling, I thought it would be better to see you in person.

Awww, pfff.

I bursted out laughing a bit.

"Sorry! Haha, that was so cheesy."

He looked kinda discouraged.

"Hey, why the sour face? You didn't let me finish my sentence, I love that about guys."

Ravi: Like what?

"That cheesy pick up line sort of guy. You know how to make a girl feel special."

Ravi shrugged as if he got a little too much confidence from my statement.

Ravi: Well, I didn't know the shop was closed today. That broken espresso machine was the perfect of luck.

I looked over at him with a troubled face.

"Not for me, manager chick made me wait for the delivery guy because she was 'busy' with some guy.''

Ravi: Oh, that .

I looked over at him and smiled playfully.

Time to play a fun joke.

"Ravi you know what the good thing about this job is?"

He looked over at me as I walked a bit closer to him.

He looked at me and stuttered.

Ravi: W-what?

"I see a cute guy almost everyday."

He looked disinterested.

Ravi: Oh...

"You don't get it? Geez, I was calling you cute and talking about the day we freaking met."

After I said that, his ears turned a bit red.

"So, about that date. Let's blow this popsicle stand!"

Ravi smirked at me.

Ravi: About time.
