‘The photographer’

I hum along to the music that is blasting in my ears as I walk over to the bench with my book in my hand. This day has been exceptionally tiring for me, both my parents were out on a business trip and I had to clean the whole house along with studying for my finals which didn’t work out so well so I decided to clear my head and what better way to do so than read in the park where no one goes to these days because of the technology. I sit on the nearest bench and start reading as I feel the cool breeze blow through my hair.

*snap snap*

I look around when I hear a weird noise and find no one present. I continue reading and get so into the story that I don’t notice that the weird noise is back.

*snap snap snap*

I stand up and start walking around to find a boy with glasses behind an apple tree with a camera. He is startled when I tap his shoulder and quickly stiffens at the sight of me.

“Were you taking pictures of me?” I ask as his cheeks become as red as a tomato

“Uhh yea I was but I am not a stalker uhh I just thought you were really pretty and I like taking pictures of pretty things... Wait that sounded kind of wrong no I mean I don’t take pictures of girls I just thought you were exceptionally pretty and I liked to take some pictures of you” He stutters as I laugh at his behavior

“You know you could’ve asked” I giggle as he scratches the back of his head

“I thought that you would think I am a creep”

“And to take pictures of me in secret isn’t creepy?” I smirk as he laughs awkwardly

“Yea I should’ve asked… My name is Hongbin”

“My name is Jin” I shake his hand as he smiles

“Can I take pictures of you?” He asks as I nod with a big grin.

“Sure” Looks like this day isn’t that bad after all. I did meet my photographer.
