“Its already ten.”

“mmhm.”

“go home, Kris.”

“need to finish this now.” Kris didn’t even looked up. Chanyeol really had enough, he snatched the paper and dropped it to the floor. “Hey!” Kris called in protest.

“Its ten o’ clock, Kris. How many extra hours do you planned to take, huh?”

Kris shook his head and took the paper from the floor to work with it again, completely ignoring a fuming Chanyeol in front of him. He seemed about to explode, before he calmed down and said, “You can’t make Joonmyeon always waiting.”

It worked. Kris stopped working for awhile, before continuing whatever he was doing. Chanyeol smiled, once he pulled that Joonmyeon card, Kris wouldn’t be able to continue his work. He might seemed working but his mind surely somewhere else and voila, he’d be heading home at no time.

But this night, unlike the other night, he was stubborn. He kept working at his paper eventhough his writing started to be more like scrawl and curves.

Chanyeol sighed deeply before pulling his last card. “you’re free for next week. Don’t you even dare to show your face in the office.”

At this, Kris jumped at looked at Chanyeol in disbelief. Before he could protest, Chanyeol cut him.

“i’m giving you three weeks leave. Use that well. And ‘well’ means it involves Joonmyeon and Tao.”

“You’re kidding right? You let your best doctor here that already taking extra hours for this past five years go for three weeks?”

“Yes. And that is the reason, Kris. You been practically living at the hospital in these five years. You should remember that you have home with your husband whom loving you .”
