No, that doesn’t sound quite right, allow me to start again.

Hello, my name is Kim Seokjin but people usually call me Jin, I look 22 years old, and I know this is hard to believe, but I am a spirit who took human form ten years ago. As a spirit-or as an angel, like many of you like to call my kind- I was in charge of taking care of the stranded and lost souls of humans, but fifty years ago I fell in love with a human soul and after forty years searching for them I discovered they had come back to life, and decided to take a human form to try to be with them, whether it was as a friend or as a lover.

 At first everything went fine, we became childhood friends and with every second we spent together I fell more and more in love with him, and I think he did fall in love with me too. We had a group of friends and yes, we weren’t your classic group of friends taken directly out from a drama, we weren’t innocent and we didn’t have perfect lives, but we were happy. We really were. And then everything started to go wrong.

Maybe it was my fault, as a spirit in charge of the dead I tend to attract… well, death, which sounds kind of redundant, but it’s true. Maybe it was not my fault, maybe everything that happened was set to happen and there was nothing I could do about it.

It probably wasn’t entirely my fault, but I’m sure my presence helped up the situation even more.

I should have listened to the others when they told me the love I was pursuing wasn’t going to have a happy end, but I’ve never been good when it came to following other advice and… I’m sorry, I know I’m beating around the bush, but it’s hard for me to talk about this, I should just get over with it, should I? Well, here it comes.

My friends are either dead or in their deathbeds or so ed up I can barely leave them alone and it was my fault. It is my fault.  But I think I’ve found a way to fix things and I may be able to… no, I am going to fix things. No matter what it takes I am going to fix this.

My name is Jin. I am an angel. My friends are hurt or in danger. I’ll save them, even if I have to turn into a demon in order to do so.
