I'm not really into sad touching genre but when I watch SHINee on Blue Night and An Ode To You was played, I can't take my eyes on Key and Onew reaction. They talked about on how Onew's vocal nodules surgery before they played the song. And sometimes ago Jonghyun also said that An Ode To You really highlighted by Onew's voice for those who miss hearing his voice. I thought that this song somehow reminded them of all the hardship they faced, especially Onew during his post surgery. And how thankful they are that SHINee can singing on stage again as five.

I recommend to play SHINee's An Ode To You as you reading this song. It surely will build up your emotions too.

During Blue Night, Onew and Key mood changed instantly during the song, like they reminisced the hard times when they're on a gamble, whether Onew voice will be back. I listened to it on loop during writing process too and I can't help but feeling the pain of the uncertainty.

Chapter 1: Thank you for sharing this fic, I really liked how you portrayed Kibum's anxiety and worry and how Jinki took pains to spare Kibum from worrying. It was angsty but I really liked it, great characterization :)
