"Jinki, Jinki,"

Said man looked up from his book to see his boyfriend hold up a thick notebook and wave it excitedly infront of him just enough to make him crossed-eyed for a moment.

"What's that?" 

Jinki set the book he was reading aside to grab the blue notebook in Taemin's hand

"My diary back in highschool. I found it when I was cleaning."

Taemin's eyes was tinkling and encouraging him to open the diary so he did. He was met with an elegant calligraphy, much expected from his boyfriend, written in a fading yellow pages of the paper.

"Where did you find this?"

"Under the floorboards."

Jinki didn't question his boyfriends weird antics since being with each other for six years can really do wonders. And by wonders, he means his boyfriends charm that doesn't seem to fade which weirdness is one of them.

"Look that's my first entry."

ENTRY 1

I didn't know there were many tall kids in this school. =___=

Some tall kid bumped into me and I fell and my hurts.

"Baby I didn't know you hated highschool." Jinki chuckled

"Why? Are you gonna do something about it huh?" 

Taemin pouted adorably in which Jinki kissed away

"No. I hated highschool too."

"Good. Now let's continue."

ENTRY 2

There's this senior and he was very cute.

I don't know his name since I don't have anyone to ask to but it's okay.

And he smiled, I didn't know he had braces which sparkles *Q*

"So who's this senior huh?" 

Jinki playfully glared at Taemin 

"I don't know. I dont remember him anymore."

Taemin shrugged and leaned into Jinki

"You write entries weeks apart darling."

"I'm Lee Taemin, what do you expect?"

ENTRY 3

My projects are piling up TwT

Did I already say I hate highschool?

But good thing there's someone who is leaving my favorite coffee in my desk everytime I go to school with some cheerful notes.

I think it's sweet ^_^

"He's sweet."

"I know."

ENTRY 4

I lost my book but someone (I think it's the same one that leaves coffee for me every morning) left a note in my desk saying to just go to the garden to get the things I lost.

And yeah it was there.

With another note: Smile

Taemin smiled and picked the notes from the diary and caressed it smiling at the memories but then scrunched his nose up when he noticed something

"I think the handwriting is familiar."

Jinki nudged him

"Let's continue."

ENTRY 5

I purposely left my phone to see if it's from the same person and it was.

The same note, the same place, with an addition,

Flowers.

"You purposedly left your phone?"

"It was old anyway and if he was just someone fooling me, I'd lost my phone and my mom will buy me a new one."

"Your smart."

"I'm Lee Taemin, what do you expect?"

ENTRY 6

Some mascot gave me a hug when I was just passing the gym.

It was strange.

"A mascot."

"Shhh,"

ENTRY 7

It's Valentines

There were red roses in the garden with a note.

It says:

I like you.

I think I'm inlike.

"There's no such word as 'inlike' "

"Yes there is."

"Where can you find it huh?"

"In my vocabulary."

ENTRY 8

My parents said we were moving away.

That morning, I didn't get a coffee, but a bracelet.

"Are you still keeping the bracelet?"

"Yes."

"...."

"Just for memories sake,"

ENTRY 9

I purposely left my handkerchief but it was not on the garden today

"The continuation of that entry is in the next page."

It was in the next day I found my handkerchief.

There was an embroidered 'J' at the corner and another note:

I'll miss you

Yeah. I'll miss him too.

"It's sad."

"Yep."

ENTRY 10

There was no coffee, no notes, no flowers.

I saw the senior with braces at the airport before I left.

I secretly wish the mystery guy was the senior.

"And that's about it."

Taemin inserted back the notes he pulled out and shut the diary. He settled with hugging Jinki since he suddenly felt sad.

"Why are you sad?"

Jinki raised Taemin's face and kissed his lips

"Why can you read minds?"

Jinki chuckled,

"No. I can't."

Taemin shot up from the loud ring of the alarm clock and looked around not finding Jinki, he thought he was making breakfast

"Jinki?"

He called for Jinki but was only met with silence. He lazily rubbed his eyes and put on his glasses not bothering with patting down his hair which looked like a bird's nest.

"Jinki?"

He peeked in the kitchen not finding Jinki but instead a cup of coffee from his favorite cafe. He lifted up the cup seeing a note:

You are cute even if you still have dried drool in the side of your face

Taemin hastily wiped the side of his face immediately blushing. He was having an idea of what Jinki was planning.

Taemin climbed the stairs up to the veranda of their house seeing a bouquet of roses with his planner that was missing yesterday. And a note:

I'm happy to have you back.

With tears forming in his eyes he walked to the direction of their store room. He stood outside the door and turned the knob slowly. What met him inside made all his tears fall.

Jinki was standing in the middle of the store room which was decorated to be like the garden of Taemin's highschool and not to mention the same replica of the stone table with has another bouquet of flowers with another note:

I can't believe you forgot about me

Taemin looked at Jinki: the oversized shirt and pants, the messy mop of hair and when Jinki smiled it all took a second before Taemin threw himself over Jinki and sobbing in his shoulder.

"Happy Anniversary baby."

Taemin stiffened and pulled back looking questionably at Jinki

"Anniversary?"

Jinki laughed. He knew this would happen.

"Yeah, and here's my present."

Jinki handed a box to Taemin which revealed the same bracelet as Taemin kept from highschool

Taemin hugged Jinki again 

"I'm sorry I forgot it's our anniversary today."

"It's okay baby. But, I can't believe you forgot about the senior that has sparkly braces."

Taemin giggled

"I'm Lee Taemin, what do you expect?"

"A lifetime love."

"Cheesy."

"I know."
