COVER GIRL

a loud knock of a black heels can be heard clearly from Taeyang Group's lobby. The owner of the heels walk fast toward the lift. Brown trousers and blazer suit her well and even form a beautiful curve in her body.

A man follows behind her. The man is wearing a gray suit with red tie. They stop right in front of the lift and then the man presses the lift's button.

"What are my schedules today, Nam biseonim?" asked a woman name Tae Minhee.

"Today you have to attend a meeting to talk about Taeyang Group's newest cosmetic product. Then, in the afternoon, you will have lunch with Lee Hwajangnim to talk about company's cooperation" Woohyun reads all of Minhee's schedules which are already written in his phone.

"Lee Hwajangnim from BTD Group?"

"Ne Hwajangnim."

As the lift door opens, a girl in pink uniform bows and smiles to them. 

"Welcome Hwajangnim." the girl greets friendly-ly.

But Minhee doesn't even look at the girl instead she directly gets in to the lift and follow by woohyun. The lift guard girl closes the lift door and presses number 15 where Minhee's room located at. 

"So, is there any others?" asked Minhee as she stares at the girl who is looking down, frightened at Minhee's sharp gaze.

"There's one more, you will have a guest from Japan, Mr. Akihiko."

"Gamsahamnida Nam biseonim." Minhee moves to the lift guard girl side.

Minhee walks toward the girl side.

"Do you purposely want to seduce the guest who gets into this lift?"

The girl immediatedly looks up.

"A-aniyo Hwajangnim."

Minhee smiles cynically.

"Really? so what with your clothes?"

Minhee points at the girl's clothes. A pink uniform with the skirt above the knee and the too low cleavage that whoever can see the girl's cleavage. Minhee looks down and glares at the girl which make her afraids feeling the very intimidating stares from Minhee.

"I pay you not to seduce the guests and the employees who come, but i pay you to help them choose which level they are heading to. With this kind of outfit you already look like a e. If you don't want to be fired you better change this disgusting clothes. Do you get it?

"N-Ne Hwajangnim."

The door lift opens and Minhee walks out followed by Woohyun who sighs seeing Minhee's attitude. As President Director, Tae Minhee is well known for being frigid, arrogant and sarcastic. Lot of employees often choose to drop out from work because they can't stand Minhee's attitude.

"Hwajangnim...."

Minhee stops as she heard Woohyun's call.

"Don't nag on me Nam biseonim. I do that because I don't want to get any bad views in my company."

Minhee walks back to her room. While Woohyun can only sighs for not being able to do anything to change Minhee's attitude.

A girl smiles as she sees her face's shadow which had been applied with a light make-up that makes her looks natural. That girl smile contently then grabs her bag and walks out of the bedroom.

"Eomma I am heading to work ne?" The girl shouts and walks out of the house.

"Jiyeon-ah wait..."

The girl name Jiyeon stops as she hears her mom call. Not long after that, a middle-aged woman walks out holding a lunch box which directly given to Jiyeon.

"Here the lunch box for you. Mianhae eomma can only make kimbab."

Jiyeon smiles widely.

"It's okay eomma. The foods eomma make for me are always delicious. Gomawo eomma Jiyeon leaves now ne?"

"Be careful ne?"

"Ne eomma."

Jiyeon waves at her mother's direction before she finally walks out of the simple house. That girl walks down the small road through the big road. The bright sunshine doesn't lessen that girl name Park Jiyeon's spirit. It takes ten minutes to arrive in the bus stop. In the bus stop, lot of people are waiting for the bus.

Jiyeon looks at her watch. Anxiety starts to rise when she finds that she's going to be late for work. Suddenly a silver car stops right in front of Jiyeon. That girl looks confusedly at the car. But when the door opens, Jiyeon's lip forms a smile when she sees the person she knows.

"Iseonim?" Jiyeon calls as she bows to greet Sunggyu.

"Get in Park biseonim." Sunggyu invites her as he smiles to her secretary.

"But Iseonim...."

"Don't give too much reasons. You are going to be late isn't it?"

"Okay then."

Eventually Jiyeon sits beside Sunggyu. Without waiting any longer Sunggyu's car is in the Seoul's street.

"Gamsahamnida Iseonim." Jiyeon says.

"You are welcome. Can we just talk comfortably. We are not in office yet."

"Ne Oppa. Oh anyway has Oppa finished the presentation for the new product later?

"Ne. But I am a little bit nervous what if Tae Hwajangnim isn't satisfied with it."

Jiyeon pats Sunggyu's shoulder.

"Don't worry Oppa. I have read your presentation and i am sure Hwajangnim will surely like it."

Sunggyu looks  at Jiyeon and smiles.

"Gomawo Jiyeon-ah I become calmer."

Sunggyu glances at the lunch box on Jiyeon's lap.

"Do you always bring a lunch box Jiyeon-ah?"

Jiyeon then looks at the lunch box Sunggyu talks about.

"Ne. Eomma always makes me a lunch box. Oppa do you wanna try it? Eomma's foods are so delicious."

"Really? But that's your lunch box."

"It's okay Oppa. Moreover eomma always give me an extra portion which makes me can't finish it all.

"Okay if like that i am going to help you finish everything."

Jiyeon nods and smiles back at Sunggyu.

Minhee is signing documents when she hears a knock in the door.

"Ne, get in."

The door opens and Woohyun gets in to Minhee's room. The secretary bows.

"Meeting will start soon hwajangnim."

"Ne."

Minhee puts down her pen and closes the document which she hasn't done reading. She then walks out of her room followed by Woohyun. As usual Woohyun presses the lift button. Not long after that the door lift opens, Minhee and Woohyun then gets into the lift. It doesn't take a long time to go three levels down. After the door opens, Minhee and Woohyun walks out and head to the meeting room. Right in front of the door, Minhee and Woohyun meet Sunggyu and Jiyeon. They then bow at Minhee.

"I hope your presentation won't dissapoint me Sunggyu-ssi." Minhee says starting the conversation.

"Ne Hwajangnim."

Minhee and Woohyun then walk into the meeting room followed by Sunggyu and Jiyeon.

Inside the meeting room all eyes are in Sunggyu who is explaining about the new product he plans. All lights are turned off so everybody can look at the projector clearly.

"Apart from being useful as BB Cream moisturizer this can also helps keeping the skin soft. This Cream has been tried before. And the results are...."

"Stop...."

Sunggyu's explanation stop when he hears Minhee's voice.

"Last year Diamond Group released the same product as the one you explained just now. And last month I&F Group also released the same product with only different brand. Taeyang Group is a company who always release a new product as other companies' breakthrough. And now are you going to ruin Taeyang Company with that imitation product you explained just now?"

Sunggyu looks down.

"Animida hwajangnim."

"I pay with high salary for you to work properly but in fact that high salary isn't suitable for your work Sunggyu-ssi."

In the corner of the room, Jiyeon seems annoyed with Minhee humiliation toward Sunggyu. Jiyeon knows well, all this time Sunggyu always works hard to create a new product but Minhee easily humiliates him.

"You have to improve this as soon as possible Sunggyu-ssi. If in a month you can't improve it you better prepare your resign letter Sunggyu-ssi. Meeting done."

Minhee stands up and all the people in the room immediately stand up and bow at Minhee. Minhee then walks out of the room and as always followed by Woohyun. Before they arrive in the lift, Minhee stops.

"You may go first Nam biseonim, I will catch up with you soon."

"Ne hwajangnim."

Woohyun then walks toward the lift and left Minhee. After seeing Woohyun gets into the lift, Minhee walks to the toilet that located not far from the meeting room. The toilet that is desidned with stones looks so natural. Minhee gets into one of the empty touilet and sit there to relax herself. Minhee remmebered her father's words when she was still young.

~~~ FLASHBACK ~~~

A middle-aged man kneeled in front of a girl who was hugging her teddybear. That man little Minhee's hair.

"Minhee-ah" Jungwoo calls made the little girl looked at her father and smiled.

"You are the only heir of appa company. Never ever once use your feeling when you sit in appa's position."

"Why appa?"

"Everybody will eye on that position without thinking of your feeling Minhee-ah. Therefore don't get influence by them. You are appa one and only hope so promise to appa that you will never use your feeling ne?"

Little Minhee nodded which made her her move too.

"Ne, Minhee promise appa."

"You have done the right thing Minhee-ah." Minhee says convincing herself.

Suddenly the sound of the foot steps approach. Minhee still silently sit inside deciding to wait for the people to go out before she finally goes out.

"Humiliating without knowing the real working performance. Cihh... Annoying."

Minhee can hear Jiyeon's voice from the toilet.

"Only because she's the owner of the company then she can get mad behind her desk without knowing anything. Such a cold-hearted, arrogant and annoying woman. She's like a witch" Jiyeon nags back.

"A witch?" Minhee repeats what Jiyeon calls her.

Minhee then walks out from where she hides. Jiyeon's face immediately turns pale after she sees Minhee. She directly bows to greet her.

"Hwajangnim."

"A witch? So that's how you call me?"

Jiyeon directly shooks her head.

"Animida Hwajangnim."

Minhee walks closer to Jiyeon and smiles cynically.

"Hypocrite."

Jiyeon looks up. "Nde?"

"In front of me you smile and bow but behind my back you insult me. I'm sick of seeing it. A low-level girl like you will never understand how to handle this company,"

"A low-level girl?" Jiyeon seems offended hearing Minhee's humiliation.

"Ne. Why? You cannot accept my word? Or you realise where your position is Park Biseonim? Because until whenever you will never be me." Minhee smiles cynically at Jiyeon before she walks away leaving Jiyeon alone.

"Instead I am a low-level girl Hwajangnim"

Minhee stops as she hears Jiyeon's word. She then turns back and finds that Jiyeon already stands in front of her.

"But i still have a heart to not hurt others' feeling. Do you know why all the people around you are being a hypocrite hwajangnim?"

Minhee keeps silent without answering Jiyeon's words.

"Because of your selfish atttitude that makes everybody around you becoming a hypocrite Hwajangnim. No one will ever sincerely act kind toward you Hwajangnim."

Jiyeon then leaves Minhee who silently stand there.

*   *   *   *   *

"Wwaahhh.... It looks so delicious. Let's Eat." Sunggyu spiritly grab a kimbap and eat it.

Jiyeon stares at Sunggyu's face who is enjoying the delicious home-made kimbab.

"Oppa."

"Hhmm..."

Sunggyu looks up with the mouth full of foods.

"Hmm..."

"Are you okay?"

Sunggyu swallows his foods before answering Jiyeon's question.

"Of course I am okay. I am not hurt at all."

"Not about that Oppa. It's about the meeting just now."

Sunggyu who is about to grab another kimbab with his chopstick suddenly stops after hearing Jiyeon's word.

"Tae hwajangnim's words are really so cruel. Oppa has worked so hard to plan that new product. Aishhh.... If only i can punch her face."

Jiyeon clenches her hand as if she wants to punch Minhee. Sunggyu who sees Jiyeon's vexation can only laugh.

"Don't hate her like that Jiyeon-ah. Tae Hwajangnim said something like that because she wants the best for Taeyang Group."

"Aiishhh... Why Oppa still defend her after she humiliates you cruelly? Or ......"

Sunggyu looks confusedly at Jiyeon.

"Or what?"

"Or Oppa likes Tae Hwajangnim."

"MWO?" Sunggyu immediately glares surprisely at the conclusion that Jiyeon makes.

"I don't like her. I only adore her." Sunggyu explains.

"Really?"

"Ne. I have been working here even before Minhee changed Mr Jungwoo's position. The first time i saw Minhee she's so different from now. She's a girl that you won't expected to be a Hwajangnim here. Minhee was educated hardly by Mr Jungwoo to be his successor. Eventhough sometimes i see her cry but i never she never complains and never give up. Those are the reasons why i adore her."

Jiyeon stares at Sunggyu with a meaningful smile.

"Why do you stare at me like that?"

"Looks like Oppa not only adore her but also like her."

"Aiishhh.... Didn't i tell you...."

"Ne... Ne... Arrasseo. Oppa only adores her."

Jiyeon and Sunggyu then continue their lunch.

It is getting dark but Minhee doesn't has any intention to leave her work. She keeps on staring at her computer screen as her finger dance fastly on the keyboard. The keyboard typing sound loud that it beats the clock ticking sound.

"Do you plan to sleep overnight here?"

Minhee looks up when she hears a voice. A handsome guy leans on the door and shows his sweet smile. The black suit he wears look suitable and attractive in that man's body.

"Myungsoo-ssi. What are you doing here?" Minhee asks without any expression in her face.

Myungsoo approaches Minhee. His step stops right in front of Minhee's desk. Both of his hands are purposely put inside the pocket.

"Of course to pick you up my fiance. Don't you feel tired after working for the whole day?"

"No. I like it."

"Aigoo.... So it turns out that my fiance is a workaholic. Because now i am already her, will you leave that boyfriend of yours? Myungsoo points at Minhee's computer which he means 'boyfriend'.

"Alright."

Minhee saves the unfinished file and then turns it off. Myungsoo keeps on staring at Minhee's movement as if that woman is so attractive for him. Minhee grabs her bag before approaches Myungsoo. They then walks out from Minhee's room.

Jiyeon walks in the company's lobby heading to the exit door. Her step stops when she sees Myungsoo who is opening the car door for Minhee. A jealousy gaze seen in Jiyeon's eyes. Jiyeon couldn't stop gazing at Myungsoo who is walking to the driver seat.

 

"How lucky Tae hwajangnim is for having a handsome and kind fiance as Kim Hwajangnim."

 

Jiyeon looks at Myungsoo's car that drives away. She sighs and continue walking.

 

"If only i can become Tae hwajangnim, i will definitely become the world most happiest yeoja."

 

Jiyeon suddenly remembered Minhee's face expression when she sits on Myungsoo's car. Minhee's face doesn't look as happy as Jiyeon thinks. Even Minhee's face looks cold and doesn't pay attention at Myungsoo.

 

"Doesn't Tae hwajangnim like Kim hwajangnim? But why? Isn't Kim hwajangnim is a kind and romantic namja. He always come to meet Tae hwajangnim only to looks at her, Then why Tae hwajangnim looks uninterested?

 

Jiyeon stops in the bus stop to wait for the bus. She sits and waits.

 

"If only i can become Tae hwajangnim." Jiyeon hopes.

Myungsoo stares at Minhee who plays on the steak without any intention to eat it. Her eyes seem to be daydreaming. Myungsoo reaches Minhee's hands.

 

"You don't like it? I will order the other food if you don't like it."

 

"No need Myungsoo-ssi."

 

Minhee starts to eat her steak that makes Myungsoo also continues eating.

 

"When did you go home Myungsoo-ssi?" Minhee asks.

 

"An hour ago. Because i badly want to see you so i immediately head to your office."

 

Minhee keeps silent without answering Myungsoo's statement.

 

"You look tired is there any problem?" Myungsoo asks worriedly.

 

Minhee looks at Myungsoo who doesn't stop smiling at her.

 

"Is it because I am the President Director of Taeyang Group?"

 

Myungsoo's smile fades as he hears Minhee's question.

 

"Nde?"

 

"I know we get engaged to benefit our company. So stop pretending in front of me. Because i hate it."

 

Myungsoo looks in disbelief hearing what Minhee said. Minhee puts down the cloth from her lap and then stands up.

 

"Thankyou for the dinner Myungsoo-ssi." Minhee says as she walks away leaving Myungsoo alone.

 

That man still stares at the Minhee's seat as that woman is still sitting there.

 

"If only you know that I am not pretending Minhee-ah. I really like you." Myungsoo says to himself and sighs.

 

Outside Minhee takes out her phone from her bag. She then calls someone.

 

"Ne Hwajangnim?" Woohyun's voice can be heard in the phone.

 

"Nam biseonim, please pick me up in La Categorie restaurant."

 

"Ne Hwajangnim." without asking any further Woohyun directly hangs up.

 

Minhee waits in front of the restaurant. Soon after that Woohyun's car stop right in front of that woman. Minhee gets into the front seat beside Woohyun then the car goes away. Woohyun who is driving takes a glance at Minhee who is looking out at the window.

 

"If I am not The President Director of Taeyang Group will everybody treat me differently from now Nam Biseonim?"

 

"Nde?" Woohyun looks confused with MInhee's word.

 

"They only smile and act sweet in front of me but in fact their real intention is to take benefit from Taeyang Group. I am sick of seeing them. If only i was born as another person."

 

"In fact, all women want to be you Hwajangnim. A rich, beautiful, smart woman who has handsome fiance, i am sure lot of women are willing to change anything to be in your position hwajangnim."

 

Minhee smiles unbelievably. "They don't understand that in my life i am only surrounded by people who pretend in front of me. I hope I can become an ordinary girl." Minhee says as she looks out of the window.

Jiyeon walks into her house. She tightens her jacket when she feels the atmosphere is getting colder.

 

Only another junction i am home already, Jiyeon thinks to herself.

 

That woman then turn side and she can see a small restaurant in the end of the street.

 

Jiyeon stops when she sees the tables and chairs are lying chaotic on the floor. Spoons and chopsticks are also scattered on th floor. Jiyeon can see her mother is picking up the spoons and chopsticks from the floor. That girl immediately runs toward her mother place.

 

"Eomma." the middle-aged woman looks up and smile at Jiyeon.

 

The woman then stands up and smiles again at her daughter.

 

"Did they come again?" Jiyeon asks which is directly answered with a nod by her mother.

 

Jiyeon's legs suddenly weaken that makes her falls to the floor.

 

"Jiyeon-ah." Jikyeong kneels in front of her daughter.

 

Jiyeon looks sadly at her mother.

 

Mianhae eomma. Jiyeon can't help eomma to pay the debt. Mianhae" Jiyeon says and cries.

 

Jikyeong hugs her daugher and her daugher's back.

 

"Don't say somethign like that Jiyeon-ah. You have helped eomma a lot so don't blame yourself like that again ne?"

 

Jiyeon nods and hugs her mother back. They keep on hugging each other and Jiyeon lets go.

 

"I am going to help eomma clean the mess."

 

JIyeon stands up followed by Jikyeong. Both of them starts cleaning and tidying up the mess. It takes around thirty minutes to restore back that small restaurant. Jiyeon and Jikyeong sigh after finish tidying and cleaning the mess.

 

"Are you hungry?"

 

Jiyeon nods spiritly at her mother's side.

 

"Wash yourself up. Eomma will prepare the dinner."

 

"Ne eomma." Jiyeon says while gets into the house.

Minhee stares at her face's shadow in the mirror. Her face has been cleaned off from the make up. No expression is shown in her face.

 

In the other side Jiyeon is also staring at her face in the mirror. Jiyeon smiles weakly at her own shadow.

 

"If only i can become another person." Minhee and Jiyeon say in the same time.

 

Both of them sigh in the same time. Minhee stands up and walk to her Queen-sized bed. That girl busily open the blanket and gets into the comfortable bed. MInhee looks to the side and sees a foto of her with her father. She then takes the frame and it. Minhee reminded at what Jiyeon told her in the toilet this afternoon.

 

Because of your selfish atttitude that makes everybody around you becoming a hypocrite Hwajangnim. No one will ever sincerely act kind toward you Hwajangnim.

 

"Did appa's world also filled with play and act? I miss you appa. Appa why don't you bring me out from this cruel world? I am tired appa." a tear from Minhee's eyes fall into the frame.

 

"I feel like disappearing for awhile appa."

 

Minhee closes her eyes and takes a deep breath and release it to relax herself. She then put back the photo to the table and lay her body down. Her eyes are looking on the top of the room,

 

"Another long day has gone by MInhee-ya. Tomorrow we will start another one again." Minhee says to herself before she closes her eyes and move to dreamland.

 

In the other side, Jiyeon has also get into her bed which was put on the floor.

Jiyeon looks at the Jikyeong's side who has already fallen asleep. That woman looks so tired which makes Jiyeon feels sad.

"I will definitely works harder to pay that debt eomma. And i will make eomma happy."

Jiyeon bows down to kiss her mother's cheek before she lays her body down. Her eyes look at the top of her room.

"Tomorrow I will work even harder." Jiyeon promises herself. 

The girl then pulls the blanket and sleeps.

Minhee slowly opens her eyes. She blinks several times when she feels strange with the change of the top of her room. Her sleepiness immediately washes off, she directly sits up and looks around at the strange room.

 

"Where is this?" Minhee asks herself.

 

She pulls off her blanket and walks toward the dressing table. Minhee looks at the things around her room, all of them looks so luxurious.

 

"Am I dreaming?" Minhee asks unbelievably.

 

She then sits in front of the dressing table and she gets so shock at her face.

 

In the other side, Jiyeon has just opened her eyes from the comfortable sleep. That girl then yawns and moves her body.

 

"Aiiggoo... Why did my whole body hurt?" Jiyeon complains.

 

She then pulls off the blanket and walks out of her room. She stops when she feels something isn't right. She looks around and walks toward the mirror on the wall. She rubs her face and shocks at what she sees.

 

"UUUWWWAHHHHH.........." Minhee and Jiyeon shout at the same time.
