Growing Old

Description

Not every love story is tragic. Some are beautiful, and last a lifetime.

Foreword

As you can probably tell if you've seen it (and if you haven't, you can watch it here), this fic is very much based off of Ellie and Carl's Lovestory from the Disney Pixar movie "Up". I got the idea to write this a long time ago, and I don't know why, but I've definitely been inspired to write more lately, so I'm really happy I was able to write this fairly quickly! I tried to match the scenes from the movie as closely as I could while still putting my own twist on it. The only dialogue used from the movie is in the scene where they're both kids. I hope you enjoy!~

Chapter 1: I watched the movie like over so many times and I know the freaking sad ending. But I still read it and now water works are like all the way down my cheeks. Thanks for this.

Chapter 2: This is so sweet yet so sad! It's bittersweet. I feel like crying. And this story makes me thinking, what would happen and how would it feel to watch the world change around you.
