Chapter 1

The story starts with Nichkhun, Taecyeon and Chansung's happy childhood, until their mother died after giving birth to their baby sister, Sooyoung.

From that point on, their father resorted to drinking and gambling to cope for his wife’s death, while Nichkhun, Taecyeon and Chansung were left to care for their baby sister.

Few months gone by...

Their father eventually got sick and died but not without asking for their forgiveness. His remorse though was too late for the four poor kids were left with nothing. Their father lost the house and farm to gambling and they were kicked out as soon as their father died.

Few years...

Taking pity on the kids, a former hired hand took them in but the latter had many kids so they hardly had any sleep as they were not used to such living conditions. They were eventually taken in by an elderly couple who owns a bakery–which is a good thing because Nichkhun, who is already in his teenage years, is good at making bread which he took after his mother.
