Paradise
Paradise
Jessica didn’t need to hear Yuri’s obnoxiously loud yawn to know that the woman was awake. The tinkling sound of the chimes was enough to tell her that; it’s Yuri’s annoying habit to open the windows as soon as she wakes up. Jessica stirred her coffee calmly and leaned back on her seat, ears perked up to the shuffling and bumping noises from inside as she enjoyed the massaging feeling of rattan against her back. She pulled her feet off the ground and hugged her knees, humming as she watched the two fluffy rabbit heads on her slippers bob as she wiggled her toes. A salty breeze blew by, causing strands of her hair to fall on her face but she didn’t bother brushing them off. There, on their little paradise, with a cup of coffee in hand, two puppies playing by the beach and a grumpy sleepyhead with messed up raven black hair pouting behind the window screen, such imperfections didn’t matter. The sky was blue. The blanket Yuri hugged her with was green. Their love was red and never fading.
A/N: I am coffee drunk and YulSic deprived. Save me.
