Hearing those words coming out from your mouth made my body go weak and my heart stop beating. It was like there was no longer blood flows in it to produce oxygen. Why? Why did you do that to me? Was I not enough? Was he better than me?

“Why?”

“Look. I didn’t love you in the first place. I accepted to be your girlfriend because I got confused with my feeling. You know, we’re friends since we’re young. I thought it was love but it was not, so please just let me go. I’m sure you can find another girl who loves you for real. Bye”

Standing where we made a lot of happy memory together, I couldn’t stop myself from crying watching you walking hand in hand with a guy you had declared you loved so much.
