"Baro! Don't running like that!"

A man told the little boy who's running across the park, then the little boy stop in an instant. He's Kim Kibum, Baro's appa.

They are on the park right now, enjoying their weekend. Kibum is a single parent since his wife passed away when giving birth to his son.

Not far away from them, there's another boy, staring at Baro. He's envy that boy because even if he's alone, seems like he can enjoy himself there, playing around alone.

This boy named Sandeul. He's newcomer in this town, so he has no friend.

"Deullie, come on baby, we have to go" His umma calling but he won't stop staring at Baro

His umma calling him for few times more, but he just won't come, so she come to him

"What happen baby?"

since her baby won't hear anything from her, she follow his sight, and looking at the same direction to find out what he was looking at

"Kibummie?"

The man searching for the source

"Minnie?"

Sungmin took her son's hand and walk to them

"It's been a long time....how are you?" She greet him

"Fine...so...he's..." He take a look at her son

"Sandeu. Deullie, say hi to uncle Kibum"

"Hello, Uncle Kibum" little Sandeul greet his mother's friend

"Hello, Sandeul. He looks like you, Min"

Then a hand pulls Sungmin's coat, and she look down and found a cute little boy there

"Oh, hello, baby"

"He's Baro, Kim Sun Woo" Kibum introduce his baby to Sungmin

"Hello, Baro. Deulli, say hi to Baro"

"Hi" Sandeul just wave his hand to Baro

Silence linger for a moment, but Baro break the ice by talking first to his new coming friend

"I'm Kim Sun Woo, but Appa called me Baro. Nice to meet you"

Sandeul smiled at him happily, finally he can make a friend here.

"Let's go there!" Baro pointing the sand box and  they run to it.

"Boys! becarefull!"

"Alright Umma!" Sandeul answered his umma

"Kids" Kibum smiled at the boys

"So, what bring you back, Min?"

"Hmm...a lot...I decided to leave the stage, and so does Kyu, he decided to take over his dad company"

When she mention her husband name, Kibum heart felt the slight sting, and he by reflect frowning.

He...never liked that name ever since he took Sungmin away from his side

"Long time..." he sigh

"Yeah...umm..sorry I couldn't be there when she..." Sungmin can't continue her words, but Kibum fully understand her

"No~ it's alright. You're far away, and still unrecovered from giving birth. I kow...I know" He smiled at her

"So, how's the thing going now?" Sungmin tried to open new topics

"Well, as you can see, some producers still ask me to be on their movies, and some magz still want me to be on their covers"

"Yeah, I see some of them on our way back home"

"That's how things going on now, Min. I have to survive, for Baro, my only reason in live"

Their conversation interupted by a phone call

"Hello? Oh, alright, babe. We'll be going now. Love you too"

"Him?" Kibum asked

Sungmin just nod, and calling her son "Deulli! Let's go! Appa's home"

While their parents talking, the boys also have their own conversation

"Your umma is sooooo pretty, Sandeul"

"Ne~ Gomawo"

"I have no umma since I was born. Appa said that she's gone to heaven first so she can prepare me and appa's place there, right on God's side"

"I'm sorry, Baro"

"No~ I'm fine"

"Your appa so handsome, just like you" and Baro gave his best smile, killer smile, just like his dad's

"Ah, your umma is calling"

"Well, Gomawo, Baro...umm...can we be friend?" sandeul asked him with a shy face

and Baro just laughing

"Pabo! We're already friend, right?"

By that, Sandeul smiled brightly, and pull Baro's hand, then run back to their parents.

"see you later Baro!"

Sandeul wave him goodbye, and Baro waved him back

"Appa, who's that auntie? Sandeul's umma"

"She's my friend"

"She's so pretty"

"Ne~ do you like her?"

Baro nods furiously

"Then, be a good friend with Sandeul"

"Alright appa!"

On their way back home

"Deullie, would you help umma, baby?"

"Ne~ umma"

"Don't tell appa that we've just met uncle Kibum"

"Why?"

"Cos it has to be a secret, a surprise for appa"

Sandeul can't understand what his umma's talking about, but he just nods, and then asked his umma about his new friend.

"What about Baro, umma? should I kept it as a secret too?"

"Well, it's alright to tell him that you already make friend today. He must be so proud of you"

"Yay! Gomawo umma"

"Ne~ Love you baby"

"Love you too, umma"

"Kids know nothing about us. Don't teach them to hate each other just because of our past"

Sungmin's words still linger on Kibum's head

"You're right, Min..." He whisper to himself
