The Noise

"Jin Hee!" My partner exclaimed with horror, "did you hear that?"

"Anniyo, what're you talking about?" I said. All I could think about was this horrible, cold weather and the hidden items. The only sounds I was hearing was the clicks of our shoes making contact with the cold, hard concrete of the abandoned gallery. My eyes were only watching the subtle light from my flashlight.

"Jin Hee!" He cried again, "I swore I heard it again. I'm not going crazy! It's loud..."

I tilted my head to look him in the eyes. He was scared. I saw it in his eyes.

"What do you hear?" I asked with patience.

"Jin Hee, it's really loud... I have no idea why you can't hear it..." He replied, not answering my question.

"What did you hear?" I repeated.

"It sounds like someone's yelling..." he said, drifting off and looked behind us. "It's coming from behind us."

I looked at him, then looked at where his eyes where. Then I saw it. It was an outline of a girl. Her hair was a mess, and her skin was as white as snow. I gasped in horror and dropped my flashlight. The light went off and it became as dark as midnight.

"Hello...?" I called quietly, looking for my partner. Suddenly, I felt someone's grip on my wrist. It was cold. Assuming it was my partner, I turned my head and expecting to see his face.

I didn't. I saw that girl's face. Her horrible, ugly, terrifying looking face. Now, all I could hear was the echos of my scream coming off of those walls.
