At times, I just hope to be a stone, or maybe that rabbit, or a tree. So that maybe I have a certain place. And so that I know what I really am. Not this half assed joke that I am now, a messed up, half vampire, half human. Vampires are half human and half bat? Nope. Vampires are vampires. And Humans are humans. So I am not a ¾ human. Have I done the math correctly this time? Vampires turn into dust when exposed to sunlight? I don’t, I even tried making my skin tan. I don’t get wilted when there is a cross near me, I actually wear one. I also love garlic flavoured foods. Oh, I don’t do that shinning thing either.

So, what am I really?

I had always lived a normal life, having my name as Sungyeol, living like a human, studying, eventually living by myself and things along those normal people do, when suddenly things crumbled right into my face.  When my vampire self took over, everything got ed up. I was detained, and so I became an experimental material. They tried digging information from me, but heck, I don’t really know things about vampires. You think they tortured me? Well. Of course they did. And I almost died. It had been months and they decided to move me into another place again (for safety purposes), and who am I with? The great Kim ing Myung damn Soo.

But it is not that I hate it. I am happy that I can help out the mankind, even though they have to almost kill me in the process of making my vampire self appear. I am willing to help but at some point I am not a human, I am a monster, so they can’t trust me.

But he somehow did, that guy who holds one of the head positions in killing us, that guy that has these scariest pair of eyes, that guy, Kim Myungsoo.

He removed the chain in my arms and every pair of eyes that witnessed it including mine widened.

“Why-“the commander still have not finished his question when he threw the heavy chains onto him and started walking.

“Don’t worry, If he makes one wrong move, I would be the one who will personally kill him.” And he looked at me.

“You, hurry up.”

And I smiled at him and nodded.
