"OH MY GAWD JACKSON GET YOUR BACK HERE!" Johnny hears a certain girl scream at the top of her lungs, followed by a door slamming then forcefully swung open again and a series of loud boisterous chuckling. He looks up from the sofa and sees Wendy chasing Jackson down the stairs. Again. "Quit it you two." He says nonchalently. "He's so... IRRITATING!" Wendy stops and shouts, pointing a finger at laughing Jackson. "Jackson please stop pulling pranks on her." Johnny says, exasperated as he switches from channel to channel on the TV, unsure of what to watch. "How did you know I pranked her?" Jackson asks and Johnny rolls his eyes. "Seriously? You're asking me? All you do is pull pranks on her." "True." Jackson replies with a proud, silly grin. "And what did he do this time?" Vernon says, walking out of the mini kitchen they have in their shared dorm, holding a can of coke. Usually dorms will only have students of the same gender. However, at Seoul International High School, there are mixed gender dorms for it is one of the school beliefs that it is important to trust the students that they know what they are doing and to offer guidance instead. Dorms are available for minimum 2 students to maximum 8 (2, 4, 6 or 8, no odd numbers for it's twin room sharing) - single story dorms for 2 or 4 students and double story dorms for 6 or 8 students.
"CLASS IS OUT!" Bobby enters the dorm loudly, with both arms up high in celebration. Lisa laughs as she enters the dorm after him, closing the door behind her. "Hi guys!" She says happily and laughs subsequently as she watches Bobby and Vernon - they're roommates - do some complicated bro handshake thing. It's a Friday, the end of the week, where Bobby and Lisa share the same class in the last period (due to their subject stream, they end their school day a class later than the other four), and everyone else shares the same last class - Mathematics - except for Vernon who has Physics. The next 2 weeks will be no-school weeks, in preparation for the upcoming examinations. The school facilities are still open to be used by students and there are students being called back for extra remedial classes before the exams. Being the second year together as dorm mates, the 6 of them kinda just do a mass studying session in their dorm together. Own time own target after all.
"I hate Jackson." Wendy says as-a-matter-of-factly as Lisa walks over to her to put her arms around her shoulders. "Fought again?" The Thai girl laughs and Wendy glares at the Hong Kong boy who's now annoying Johnny. "Johnny I feel beyond sorry for you that you have to have him as your roommate." Wendy tells him and Johnny shrugs. "I treat him as if he doesn't exist. It's fine." "HEY!" Jackson protests loudly. "He pranked her again?" Bobby asks no one in particular and Vernon nods. "Yeah apparently." "What did he do?" Bobby now asks Wendy.
"I was studying," Wendy starts to explain, "And then this annoying jerk-son came in. Remember he had a trip a few days ago for his project with his friends? So he came in and said, "Wendy look at this spider I caught the other day!" and when I turned to look at him, he drops the jar he was holding onto the floor and started screaming. And the best part? The jar was originally empty, he caught no damn spider! But I didn't even managed to see if he did because he just dropped the jar so I thought there really was a spider??? So he was screaming to scare me and I was screaming because WHAT THE HELL and then this jerk started to laugh and slammed my door shut, running away!!?? And that's when I realised it's one of his dumb jokes." Wendy finishes and glares at him. "Jackson you're a genius!" Bobby says and earns a jab from Wendy. "Beware I'll put ants in your hair when you sleep." She jokingly threatens him but the boy isn't the least bit daunted and just walks into the kitchen, saying something along the lines of wanting pizza. "I'll go put my bag down first." Lisa says and starts to make her way upstairs. The girls' room is upstairs with their own washroom a
