“Hyung, just let me make one drink!” The boy with dark brown hair sweeping across his forehead right above his eyes demanded with yet another whine, violently pushing the arm of the barista she knew as Minseok to get him to conform with his request.

She rolled her eyes in utter annoyance trying to shift her gaze back to her work.

“Hyung, pleaaaaaase.” The boy begged one more time, his voice rising in pitch, aegyo almost physically visible in his wailing tone. “Just one, I won’t screw it up, I swear.”

Several seconds of silence passed and she heard Minseok heave a sigh. “Fine, just one.” Minseok gave in, taking one of the receipts and forcibly handing it to the boy. The boy grinned in satisfaction; the smile creating small crinkles in the corners of his eyes.

He almost looked cute, she thought.

But god, his mouth could use a little less blabbing. Or some duct tape.
