On our way to school, inside Chanyeol’s car, we never spoke about Jong In. Or to be precise, we never really spoke to each other. As we arrived, we got off the car without any ‘see you laters’ or anything of that sort.

Kyungsoo and Chanyeol were on their way to the building beside ours. They saw Jong In waiting in front of our building. The three of them exchanged glances. More like, glares.

“Hey.”, Jong In said as he smiled at me looking away from them

“Hey.”, I simply replied

He took my backpack and carried it on our way to our classroom. Gina who was already on her seat kept staring at us until I sat right next to her. It was an awful look from her.

“Is something wrong?”, I asked.

“No.nothing.”, then she quickly looked away and started reading a book

I felt weird.

After lunch break, I had no class but I had to return to our classroom because I forgot my class notes. And I saw on my armchair, a note. It was from Jong In.

 I went up to the rooftop to meet Jong In. It was what he told me on the note he left.

“Come secretly to the rooftop. Alone.” It was what was written on it.

As I reached the rooftop I saw him smoking which made me quite mad.

I quickly took the cigarette away from him and threw it away which startled him.

“Are you crazy!? What on earth is wrong with you? Trying to die early?”, I exclaimed

He was surprised and yet he laughed a few seconds after.

“Why the hell are you laughing now?!”, I asked

“I never knew you started caring for me now.”, he said with that smirk again

“Shut up. You know what, I’m leaving.”, I said as I turned away

But he quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him. My face was facing his chest while I was breathless.
