Sleep Away
Krystal was sitting down on the couch, fully dressed and waiting for Ms
Kim and Taeyeon to come downstairs. They had been up there for the
past forty minutes. They must have had a lot to talk about. The
blonde always said that her mother was open-minded, but from
the look on her face, that might not be the case. She did not want to
get in between her and her daughter, but what if Ms Kim really did
not approve of them seeing each other? What if she tried to pull them
apart by forbidding Taeyeon to see her? Krystal found that thought much
more terrifying than she assumed it would be, and instantly thought
about going up there and pleading her case. Just as Krystal got worked
up enough to go upstairs, Taeyeon and Ms Kim came downstairs.
Taeyeon ran into Krystal’s arms and hugged her tightly, as Ms Kim
walked up to them and smiled. Krystal only looked at her questioningly.
“So, does this mean...that you approve of me and Taeyeon?” She asked.
Taeyeon’s mom just nodded, and looked at her seriously.
“Yes Krystal. To see the two of you like that then did catch me
off-guard, but from talking to Taeyeon, I can see that you make each
other happy. And at the end of the day, that’s all I want. Love is
love and you can’t help who you fall in love with.”
Krystal nodded and smiled happily. “Thank you.”

Three days later, Taeyeon found out that the pianist from Germany would
be delaying his trip by a month, but she was happy for this, it gave
her a chance to practice for it a bit more. She had really been
neglecting her practice to spend more time together with Krystal. But
after then things got ruff between them. Very ruff.

Krystal and Taeyeon were at school, at lunchtime. The two did seem to be
pretty much besotted with each other, but for some reason, Krystal was a
lot more careful and worried about showing their affections in public.
Krystal didn’t know why she was so fearful, but the fact that Taeyeon’s
mother knew about them made her more nervous. For Taeyeon it was the
exact opposite. She now wanted to be more open with the relationship
and was letting her guard down more and more, especially at school.
Taeyeon led Krystal to the outside of the northern block of the school,
around the bike shed, with a mischievous look on her face. Krystal
blushed at her, and looked around for anyone.
“We can’t do that now, Taeyeon...” Krystal said.
Taeyeon just pushed Krystal up to the back of the shed and against the
wall. The musician raised her eyebrows suggestively, as her hands
travelled around Krystal’s body.
“Can you really say no to *me* Krystal?” Taeyeon asked.
Krystal would have protested at that, but found that she couldn’t. She
actually couldn’t say no to Taeyeon no matter what she felt like. Krystal
pulled Taeyeon in closer to her, and lightly kissed her. Taeyeon giggled
slightly, and let her hands drop to Krystal’s slender waist. Krystal,
driven by her desire, pressed her lips onto Taeyeon’s more forcefully,
but instantly jerked back when she heard footsteps.
The blonde musician gasped as she felt Krystal pull away so abruptly,
and wondered what was wrong, but caught on as she saw three boys walk
past them. They didn’t see Krystal or Taeyeon, and the brunette-haired girl
sighed in relief. Taeyeon’s face twisted into an angry expression. The
blonde musician began to walk away, but was halted when Krystal grasped
her wrist.
“What’s wrong Taeyeon?” The blonde di
