Kai has been dead for years. His spirit can't rest and he spent years trying to figure out why. Kai has decided to give up but as days pass, his memories of when he was alive continues to disappear. All he has of his life before death is the house which he believes was his home. He watched people pass day by day through the window of the house. He watched the grass grow and die. He saw people of the area take their first steps, get married, and die. But after a new boy moves into his home, Kai is able to smile again.
