" I said I'm not interested! ", screamed Jyoung Mi angrily.

" I--I was only trying to be a friend! ", stuttered Ryeowook nervously.

" A friend? Huh! So you can just stab me in the back later and leave me!? No thanks! "

With that, she stormed off in a towering rage. Ryeowook just stood rooted to the ground.

" What the do you want? ", she snapped.

He touched her cheek lightly, but she slapped his hand away hard.

" Is that how you treat Jonghyun, Prince of the Underworld, pretty girl? ", he smiled seductively.

" Prince or no prince, don't you dare come near me, tard! ", spat Jyoung Mi.

" Hehe, she's such a feisty little thing. I like it. ", thought Jonghyun with an evil grin.

Jyoung Mi woke up to a splitting headache. Her body hurt and she felt her temperature burning.

She looked around. Everything was spinning. Sounds rang aimlessly in her head. The only thing she could hear clearly was the dull thudding of her own heartbeat.

" Jyoung Mi-ah! ", came a distant voice.

She looked up feverishly. Someone was running towards her. The silhouette was that of a boy. The figure got closer to her. Her vision focused on the person's face.

Leeteuk.

His chestnut brown eyes were wild with worry and something sparkled in his eyes.

Tears.

A drop fell on her hot cheek, stinging it for a moment. She felt herself being lifted off the grass and being carried into Leeteuk's arms.

She heard the swooshing of wings and their gentle flutter. Her heart felt like it was floating. She dizzily looked from her position and a small cloud met her cheek.

She closed her eyes as the cloud vaporized when it touched her cheek. She opened her eyes again and saw nothing but a clear blue sky with a few stray clouds here and there.

She looked up at Leeteuk. Her heart stopped for one moment.

The sun glinted on his light brown hair, making it look golden-brownish. His face looked smooth and beautiful. He looked like an angel.

But what shocked her most was the pair of two, beautiful, pearl-white wings that flapped in the wind behind his back.

She closed her eyes again, hoping this was a dream. But when she opened them again, it wasn't a dream.

It was reality.
