Taeyong was my childhood friend and he even gave me the skull ring that I’m wearing right now. We had an eye contact and he started to smile, the friendly way.

“Chris!!!”

He shouted very loud that everyone shut their mouths.

“Sorry for the interruption”, he said.

Then everyone just looked on stage and all the contestants went on stage.

“We’ll know who will be the winner after some intermission numbers”, the host said.

I looked at the guy who just shouted Chris’ name.

He’s tall with fair skin and big black eyes.

“Do you know him?”, I asked Cathy.

“Yes. He’s Taeyong- oppa, Chris’ childhood friend. We never saw him after he moved to US until now.”

“I see.”

I never saw Taeyong’s face for years and he grew so manly with broad shoulders and muscles that are visible even from his shirt.

We are once again called to give the awards to the winners.

Yuta won third place and even me was shocked, I was announced as the grand winner.

“We’ll take a picture with the friends of the grand winner”, the host said.

“Why is a picture important?”, I asked with curiosity.

“It will be at the front cover of our newspaper.”

“What?! No way.”

Yuta went back to stage. 

I saw Johnny, Cathy and even Jaehyun going upstairs.

“Yah! This is all your fault”, I said to Johnny.

“What? It’s fine as long as you win.”

Yuta as usual, puts his arms onto Johnny’s shoulders while Johnny and Jaehyun were on my both sides putting their arms onto my shoulders. Cathy stood infront of me.

I looked at the picture and they all looked happy except for me with a crooked smile.

“Chris! Let’s take a picture.”

Johnny puts his arms onto my shoulders and took a picture.

“What will you do with that?”, I asked.

“Tweet it. Hahaha.”

“Hey! Wait!” 

I grabbed his phone but too late, it’s already tweeted with a caption...

“ With my girlfriend. XD”

“What the hell?!”

“Hahaha. It’s okay.”

“You’re a bully!”, I said.

I saw Taeyong waving at me. I approached him.

“Taeyong, long time no see.”

“Yeah, long time no see. Are you a student here?”

“Yeah, I am. You?”

“Nope. I went here with my cousin. She insisted that I need to go with her.”

“I see.”

Awkward silence.

“Chris, who is he?”

I looked behind me and saw Johnny, Jaehyun and Yuta.

“Ah. Guys, this is Taeyong, my childhood friend.”

“Hi.”

“Hi.”

The guys greeted each other and I don’t know why but it looked awkward.

“Okay guys. I’ll changed. I’ll be right back.”

“Let’s go together”, Yuta said.

“Umm... Ah. Wait. My mom is calling.”

“Okay, I’ll wait for you”, Yuta said.

“No, its okay. You can go ahead.”

“Okay.”

I went back dressed already with my normal clothes.

“Guys, I need to go home. Let’s go, Cathy.”

“Chris, I’ll go with you. I’ll stop by to greet your parents”, Taeyong said.

“You sure? What about your cousin?”

“Unfortunately, she’s enjoying herself with her girl friends.”

“Okay. Let’s go.”

“Bye guys!”, I bid goodbye to Jaehyun, Yuta and Johnny.
