I walked into the school.

I felt nervous.

Anxious to be exact.

I wanted to know who is sending me those notes.

Could it be the person I’d been admiring from afar?

I slowly walked up to my locker being feeling really uneasy. I slowly spun the dial and opened it.

To my luck, there was a note the fell from the top of my locker to the floor.

I picked it up, slowly unfolding the note carefully and started reading.

The person whose locker is right next to yours.

It was him.

The guy I admired from afar.

My heart started beating faster and instantly my cheeks felt really warm.

I must be blushing.

I thought only about him throughout the whole day.

He occupied my whole mind.

He just wouldn’t get out of my head and my cheeks were crimson red for the whole day.

The school day ended and I headed back to my locker putting my books away.

And I saw him.

With his back leaning on my locker. He was holding flowers.

He must’ve noticed me and walked towards me.

I clutched my books tighter and hid my face partly.

He knelt down with his left leg on the floor and his right leg up.

He held up the flowers as it he was proposing to me.

It felt awkward since there was a lot of people watching us.

“Youngji, would you be my girlfriend?” Jackson asked.

I didn’t know what to reply.

I was shocked and  froze for a few seconds.

It felt unreal.

I pinched myself firmly.

This is real.

“Yes,” I answered accepting the flowers and hugging him while he was standing up.
