In an alternate universe, there are seven regions. These seven regions had different species of 'mankind' and thus each region operated separately. Hardly was there any form of crossovers unless needed. The kingdom of Pink Paradise (forgive the name) had three cities. There was the upper class - mainly for the small group of human that held power over the other two classes. The other two class were of the same level which comprises of people with dog or cat characteristics. The people in these two classes looked exactly like humans except for the fact that they had animal ears and tail, possessing the characteristics of the animal class they were in. As long as you are twenty years old and under, you are still considered a puppy or kitten. The interesting part was this year, four of the upper class's humans were turning adults and it was a rule that they had to pick anyone that was from 18 to 20 of age to be their pet. It may sound degrading but those who hold the status of pets are the outstanding lot of the lower class that are allowed to enter the upper class cities. Kittens and puppies that are suitable are sieved out by the head of the upper class, then they will start rejecting those that had low performance and poor records. Each upperclass was allowed to pick one out of twenty that deemed compatible with them then the rest are sent back.

  Today was the day whereby outstanding kittens and puppies were sent off by their families in hopes of being pets. Bomi was informed by the ruler of puppies that she was chosen to be the pet for one of the humans and to much surprise, Bomi refused to go. "No sir! I refuse to be a pet, I would rather to run around than to have to protect a human. Do I really have to gooo." Bomi whined with her puppy ears flopped down miserably. "Yes you have to go, come on the chances of you being pick is five percent. Why not you just take it as an opportunity to check out how the upper class city looks like since you are such a curious pup?" a guy with deep voice spoke fondly to Bomi. Bomi was a stray puppy and she enjoyed roaming around finding interesting places and objects to play with. She was 18 but she was still a tiny puppy in his eyes. "Alright then, I'll go and maybe I'll find you something fun to bring back for you Sir!" Bomi wagged her tail and set off for the upperclass kingdom. She would have fun there right? Bomi had good stamina and speed and in no time, she had managed to run there before the main gates were shut by the soldiers.   Bomi excitedly took in the surroundings around her as she found herself following kittens and puppies to a large yard.
