Mark Tuan , that popular redhead. You've had a crush on him ever since a long time ago but you've never even talked to him. He was never alone, he always had people surrounding him , the basket team (Jackson, your childhood friend was one of them) and a bunch of girls.but.. he was different , he wasnt flirty or loud, he was just... normal but everyone liked him... and you, you were one of them

Today was colder than usual and you havent seen Mark all day today. He wasnt sitting in the usual table he sat to everyday during break time and he wasnt in his class, he must be absent ...

"Nina! Get in the car!" your brother, Randy (who is a bit like a jock), yelled from across the street "Hurry up! Its cold!"

You threw your bag into his car, sitting in the front seat

"Why were you late! Its freezing outside" you whined 

"I was busy cleaning the house"

"Cleaning the house? now thats new..."

"Ok , listen here kiddie, im having a friend over today and since mom and dad are away he'll be sleeping over , so u better not be in my room while i go and pick him up, kay?"

"Kay" you said, pretending not to hear

a few minutes later , you reached home  and you got off Randy's car

"Dont dare you set a foot in my room, got it?"

"Whatever"u slammed the door before drove across the road

as soon as he left, you ran to his room not wasting a second

'i'll just play for a few minutes before he comes home" u thought to yourself as you the gaming console then covering yourself in blankets

"Let the game begin"

A "few seconds" turned into 30 minutes and you totally lost track of time not realizing that Randy'll be home in any moment 

the game's sound effects must have been loud to the point where you couldn't hear the door opening

"NINA YOU TWERP"

You turned around only to have your jaw drop

The fact that your brother caught you wasnt shocking but the fact that your crush, Mark , Mark effing Tuan was there, next to your brother, covering his mouth trying not to laugh at the sight of you

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME INTO MY ROOM" he smacked your head lightly

You got up in embarrassment , covering your face which was as red as a tomato 

"Jee, i told her not to come " Randy sighed with his hands on his hips

"i think she's cute" Mark whispered with a smile

"Cute? Pft yeah right , havent u seen her looking like a hobo?"

"Isnt that cute?"

Randy scoffed and stared at him in disbelief , making Mark laugh

"You're weird"

Even though an hour has passed , Nina was still in shock but that didn't stop her from shoving cookies into  

Suddenly she turned around , hearing someone walking towards you

"Hi Nina" said Mark as he walked towards you with a smile, which you adored 

"M-mark! H-h-hey" your face turned red again 

"I just wanted to tell that there's really no need to be shy about earlier and....."

"and?"

"And... i want to be your friend" he said as he came closer "no, actually, i want to be more than that..... infact, i like you, alot" his cheeks turned into a light shade of red "i always wanted to hang out with you, but my friends always dragged me and i didnt have the chance to-" 

Before he could even finish his sentence , you cupped his face putting your lips on his , lasting a few seconds

"y'know what?  i like you too " said Nina

A few seconds of silence passed before Mark suddenly lifted you , turning you around and planting a kiss on your cheek 

"I have to go now before Randy comes down, see you later " he winked

"Yeah.... see ya" you waved back with a smile

who would have ever known that a day like today would happen , where you'd have your first kiss with your crush , Mark. One thing for sure is that today will be marked on your calendar , forever ♡
