Yuri’s Pov

I was on the staircase looking outside as I was skipping class. I was looking back to the past of my past lover, Jessica Jung.

~~Flashback~~

“Yuri!!” She ran towards me and hugs me.

“What is it Sica??” I asked her as she buried her face on the crook of my neck

“I love you.”

“I love you too, Sica.”

"Yuri... I wanna break up with you." She said as I was looking outside enjoying the view of the city from the rooftop.

"You like Donghae, dont you??" I asked as I know she likes him

"Everything we had was not real to you and everything was fake huh?..." I scoffed "I bet you'll like it when you two are gonna be in bed." I said as I walked past her and went down the stairs as I heard her yelled

"YAHH!!"

"Whatever. Do what you like... I dont care... Im guessing that Im boring to you huh??" I asked as I stopped at the end of the stair case and look back at her as she didnt say anything.

"No need to say anything. I know what your gonna say." I said not trying to sound sad.

"I guess we're over." I said as I walked away from her as my tears rolled off my face as I walked.

She's not stopping me?? I scoffed Maybe its for the best of us.

As I was in the locker room, changing my shoes to my white nike shoes, Donghae came to me.

"Yul... Buddy... I heard what happen." He said as I force smiled

"Its okay Donghae... Just love her the way I did." with that I left him there as I was walking home from school with my head out of the game... Always be thinking of Sica everyday even though we have broken up that day.

I was walking around my neighborhood as I saw a familiar figure with some of her friends who were also my friends. I hid beind a wall as I overheard their coversation.

"Jess... What happened to Yuri?? Why did you break up with her all of a sudden??" A girl name Tiffany Hwang, girlfriend of my best friend, Kim Taeyeon.

"Yea... I like her more than Donghae... He's like.... giving a big distant between you two... I mean he only holds your hand and kiss you on the cheek and thats it. Yuri on the other hand is more like a lover type, caring, kind, nice, pretty, handsome, and cute person." Sunny said as I nodded to myself as I was agreeing to my best friend's words

"What does Donghae doesnt that Yuri have??" Sica asked

"He does nothing but hold you hand and kiss you on the cheek... Nothing romantic unlike Yuri!!" Sunny said as she raises her hands in the air of frustration and I smiled as she said that.

"Yea... He's not that romantic... If I was on your shoes, I would go out with Yuri again." Tiffany said as Sunny nodded

"Whatever... Just drop this subject cause I dont want to talk about it ever again." Sica said as the three of them continue walking...

I sighed and leaned my body and head against the brick wall that I was hiding from and said to myself

I really miss you Sica... I said to myself

with that, I walked back home.

As I was done flashbacking, I let out a sigh and then said

"It hurts seeing them together..." I sigh again and looked at the entrance of the school's gate.

I noticed something strange by the school’s gate. It was hard to see cause I was far away from the school gate.

“What the is that?? A person??” I asked myself as it looks like it was trying to get in the school.

Then I notice the school's gate teacher and Gym teacher going to the school’s gate

“Hey!! What are you doing?? Go home!!” I heard the gym teacher, Mr. Bell said

The “thing” grabs Mr. Bell and bit his neck

“AHHHHHH!!!” Mr. Bell yelled and then fell on the floor

My eyes were widened as I saw blood on the floor and Mr. Bell got up slowly and walked slowly to Mrs. Li and then bit her

“No ing way!! That’s a ing ZOMBIE that bit Mr. Bell!!” I said [ sooo sorry for swearing ]

I ran down the stairs as fast as I can to find Sica and Donghae as class ended and everyone was in the halls. As I saw them together, smiling at each other which hurt my heart, I ran in front of them and said

“We need to get out of here.” I said sternly

“What?? Buddy, 5th period is about to start.” Donghae said

“No. You don’t understand! We need to go now! Like in as—“ I was about to finish as the school announcer .

“Kids… Please stay calm and stay in the classrooms and---“

“AND SAVE YOURSELVES BECAUSE THERE’S ZOM----- AHHHHHHH!!” Mrs. Son said as she screamed at the end

Everyone went to their next class as we were the only ones in the hall.

“What was that??” Donghae asked

“What does she mean by ‘zom’?” Sica asked as Donghae shrugged

“Follow me and I’ll tell you everything later.” I said as they nodded as we were going upstairs to the rooftop

"As I was skipping 2nd through 4th period, I saw something by the school gate before 4th period ended. It was a zombie and it bit Mr. Bell and Mr. Bell bit Mrs. Li. I'm guessing that Mr. Bell and Mrs. Li bit the principle and Mrs. Son." I said as they were shocked to hear.

We went to the roof top and saw the janitor biting a two kids necks.

“Oh my god!” Sica said as she’s covering and the ‘zombie janitor’ heard her and walk towards us

“Oh great. Nice going Sica.” I said as I broke the end of the broom into a sharp spear at the end and was about to go towards it, but Donghae ran towards it and did karate punches and kicks at the zombie janitor and landed on the floor.

“See. Easy.” Donghae said as I saw the zombie janitor getting up and was about to get Donghae’s leg

“Donghae!! Buddy!! Look out!!” I said as I was running towards him, but I was too late, the janitor bit his leg.

“AHH!!” Donghae screamed

I sliced off the head as it rolled away when I kicked it.

“Donghae!! Are you okay??” Sica said as she wraps his left leg with a cloth.

“Yea. Just a scratch… Hey Yuri...” He said

“Yea??”

“If I turn into one of them, kill me okay??” He said as I nodded

“Back at you too.” I said as he nodded too until Sica said

“WHAT!? NO! Are you two crazy??”

“Don’t scream Sica… They’ll hear us.” I said as I saw those two kids that the janitor bit, got up slowly and were walking and blocked our way to the door where we were supposed to escape from.

“Come on. Lets move. Can you walk buddy??” I asked as he nodded

“Yupp.” He said

“Meet me at the roof top where we hang out. I’ll get my sword from my locker.” I said as I gave him the spear

“Okay. Be careful.” He said

“I will. Now go.” I said as they ran to the rooftop.

I ran back to the door where we entered and ran to the locker room. I stopped and lied on the stairs case on the 2nd floor as more zombie kids were walking in the halls slowly and three non-zombie kids were running, screaming and yelling for help while banging on the doors on the left side of the halls. I was on the stair case on the right and was sitting on the first step of the staircase and watched as the zombie kids were walking to the loud sound and walked passed me. I let out a little soft sigh and thought to myself and wrote it on the palm of my hand... [confused?? Comment below to ask...]

Note to self: Don’t make sounds... Attracts zombies.

I watched as the kids were getting bitten and I couldn’t do anything since I didn’t have my sword with me since there’s a "policy" of “No weapons allow in school.” And the reason why I have my sword with me because I practice my swords skills since my father was a samurai and
