The one

Description

I’m finally done with the high school life. Throughout the high school year I begged my parents to let me go to Korea every. Single. Day.

-One afternoon-

“Hey sweetie, what are you watching?”

“A Korean drama…”

“Do you not have something better to do?”

-Before exams-

“Hey sweetie, I can see that you’re studying really hard so I brought you some cookies”

I Stopped reading the fan fiction, grabbed a cookie and continued reading.

“Thanks mom”

-One morning-

I put in my headphones and started dancing to “her” by block b. My mom rudely interrupted.

“I’ll just… I’m… I’ll, uhh… you may continue…” she walks away.

Well you get it, my mom thinks I’m overly obsessed with anything related to Koreans… Tch... Pssshttt.

I was eventually aloud to go there to “study abroad”.

As I boarded the plane, I heard some people talking in korean, I turn around to see Korean guys sitting right behind me, and next to me as well.

Since when did we have Koreans in this country?! Daebak!

As I finished fan girling, I the small t.v which is in front of me and I watched a movie. At one point, I screamed “OMO! Aish…” and I realized that people stared at me, especially the Koreans.

“You speak korean?” he asked

“Yes, I’ve been learning it since the beginning of high school, I’m quite fluent now.”

“Whoa, Daebak!” I chuckled and continued the movie.

-Korean airport-

I finally arrived, I should have brought a friend with me to stay entertained… hopefully I’ll meet some good friends here.

It was around 10:40 am when I arrived at my hotel room. I took a shower and dressed up. I decided to take a walk and get to know the place.

It was a Saturday and I heard that people would do street performances here and there.

I went to a café and called my mom.

“Are you safe, dear?” was the first thing I heard from her

“Yeah, I arrived safely and I’m already loving this place!”

We talked and eventually I hung up. I went to buy a coffee and, as I was about to pay, the boy behind me insisted in paying for me. I felt bad but it’s rude to decline.

We both sat on a table and started talking, in Korean.

“Your Korean is good!” he said

“Thanks! I’ve studied day in night to be able to come here!”

“My name is Park Jin, I’m a dancer from haramkkun. We are a group of street performers.”

“Whoa! My name is [y/n]”

“Nice name!”

We chatted for an hour and before he had to leave, he gave me his number. I decided to walk around the streets until I saw Park Jin dancing with two other boys, they gathered a crowd, so I went to watch.

They danced to psy’s Gentleman and Park Jin was wearing a red sweater, white undershirt, black mask followed with fake glasses, black pants and a turquoise snapback.

I died on the inside when Jin lifted his shirt up, revealing his abs!

As they finished, the people gave them money or other items and they left. Jin noticed me and jumped in front of me.

“Were you here the whole time?”

“Yeah” I shyly replied.

“Awwh you’re blushing!”

I quickly covered my cheeks and looked down.

He gave me a hug and we walked around. I like him already…

We were talking about ourselves and we laughed here and there.

-Park Jin’s POV-

She’s such a cute girl and fun to be with, she’s also my type. We were playing 21 questions up in my tree house and I asked her “Do you like me?” and she froze. She looked at me with wide eyes and her cheeks turned red.

I ruffled her hair and she relaxed “sorry, I shouldn’t have asked that, I was just curious…”

“I… like you… a lot…” she replied and I stood up “It’s getting late…. I think I need to lea--” I cut her off by giving her a kiss. My forehead touched her and she seemed shocked at my sudden action. “I really like you too” he said, she kissed me back and we smiled.
