Foreword
I stretch out my hand as I let out a light groan. It’s been a very busy week and I just got the best sleep.
I rub my eyes with my left hand to adjust to the light shining against my eyes.
I extended my right hand to search for my plushy toy, only to find it nowhere.
As my vision finally adjusted with the seemingly blinding light, my eyes grew wide as I finally realized I am not in my room.
My bed, my oh-so comfy bed is nowhere to be found.
Instead, I am sitting near a sparkly river, surrounded by beautiful and unearthly flowers.
I heard a sweet voice of a woman calling my name.
I turned my head to the left, and there I saw the most beautiful lady I laid my eyes on wearing a very warm and sweet smile.
As I was about to stand and approach her, I heard another voice, deep and frightening.
I gasped when I turned my head to him, the sparkly river now became dark and restless.
He was wearing the darkest glare I’ve ever seen. My eyes grew wider as I realized he was walking his way to me. Fear immediately crept up to my system. Flame blazing in his eyes.
I was about to run but my feet seems to lose their lives as they stay rooted to their spot. What am I to do now? I turned my head to the woman I saw awhile ago but she was already gone. I opened my mouth to shout and ask for help but it seems that it betrayed me too. So I guess I am hopeless now.
I turned my head back to the man and to my surprise; he was already only a few feet away from me. His eyes flashed with anger, he was holding a knife that appeared out of nowhere.
I closed my eyes anticipating for the pain after I saw him aiming the knife to my chest.
But nothing came…
I felt famililiar warm arms wrapped around me instead, giving me the feeling of safety and assurance.
I slowly opened my eyes, and there I saw two gentle deep brown orbs looking down at me full of love and yearning.
But those gentle eyes were then replaced by pain and distress.
And soon, I saw blood trickle from his slightly parted mouth. His wrapped arms slowly loosened their hold on me, he then fell on his knees…
