Line Walker (HIATUS)
Description
My mom always told me that "choosing our own way is not an easy thing to do, but everybody has their own choice". But I asked her, "What happens if some people don't get their own choice? If they're forced to do something they don't want to do?" She tapped my nose and giggled at me. "Then I would consider that person a line walker. They only have two choices, either walk back and admit defeat or continue to walk forward and face reality."
Foreword
Prologue ”
"You sure you don't want a ride?" My best friend Minah asked while rolling her window down to talk. I waved back to her and smile. "Nah, I'm good. There's only a few blocks to walk." I motioned her to leave and she rolled her eyes at me. "Alright Jungie, call me when you get back!" She rolled her windows back and started her engine.
Aejung's hands tightened on her textbooks and she began to walk.
She turned around the corner and started to get her keys out when she suddenly got pulled into a dark alleyway. Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest as everything she was holding now scattered on the floor. "Holy crap. W-what's happening?" She asked herself.
Aejung got slung to the wall and a painful whimper came out of .
She slowly opened her eyes and came eye to eye with a handsome young man, only a few centimetres away.
"I need a place to stay."
His face showed no expression and yet his words sounded so hoarse. Aejung gulped down and stared at him with anxious eyes. Her brain shouted no and was telling her to run away from him but her body gave her no support to go against the stranger. Words couldn't form and got dry.
He opened his mouth and spoke again.
"Now."
