After saying goodbye to the people inside, Woohyun started walking to who knows where. You were just behind, following him, can’t even bring yourself to say a word.
Woohyun then stop and so do you. You scan the place and it was really quiet. It’s somewhat an old playground with vines already grew through the slides and swings, making it clear it was already abandoned.
“I..it’s really quiet in here…” You managed to say. “That’s why I brought you here, because it’s quiet….and relaxing..” Wind started to breeze in and it was really relaxing. It was on a hilltop so you could see a city view on one side.
Woohyun sat on one of the swings and motioned you to sit on the other.
“When I was young, I remembered playing here with my dad. It was one of the best moments a child could have with his father. He was so caring and takes care of me well.” He started telling a story. You really don’t know why he was telling you that but you just remained silent to listen.
“We live in this neighborhood, there really isn’t that much population living in here so it’s kind of lonely when you just have a few kids to play with. There was then come a time when I was awaken by shouts. I peek though the stairs and saw my parents bickering at each other, I don’t know what it was about since I’m still young to understand things.” You nodded in agreement. “As I woke up the next morning, my dad was gone. I asked my mom where he was and all she said was he already died.” “O..omo….I’m…I’m really sorry about that..” You murmured out of sympathy.
“It’s really weird since we didn’t even go to his funeral or something. I didn’t even know where the hell his grave is! My mom won’t just tell me! After that day, I didn’t come back to this playground again since my mom and I moved to another place. So I basically grew up with only my mom so I’m
