You don’t know what to say, summer is one day from being over. In eight hours your father will be here to pick you up and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.

So you kiss her, you kiss her lips, her neck, her chest, her hips, her thighs, you kiss every single part of her on your bed and hold her close and you smile every time she sighs against you. Her nails rake up your back but you don’t complain, just throw your head back and try to keep as quiet as you can.

She runs her finger along your collarbone afterwards, legs tangled in yours and your chin resting on the crown of her head, fingers threading through her hair and along her spine.

“You’ll come back,” She says, so sure of herself that you almost believe her. “Right?”
