Quick how-to-use:

• Right-click on image and download it.
• Open image in GIMP or Photoshop.
• Once you have your program opened, select Color Picker Tool (GIMP, Photoshop) or its equivalent in other photo editors, then hover and click on whichever color you wish to use. The foreground color should change to your selection!
• Then voila, use to your heart's content on text, on backgrounds, on shapes, etc.!
