Temporary Girlfriend

       Sohyun walked inside the cafe and immediately went to counter to order her favorite drink, vanilla frappe. Once she gets her order, she went to her favorite part of the cafe which is the table beside the window. She loves that spot because she can see all people passing by outside the cafe and sometimes she makes a impromptu fake conversion when there's people who are chatting with each other. She was taking her sweet time alone when a stranger suddenly sits infront if her. The man speaks before she can react. "Be my girlfriend." He said sternly. Sohyun widen her eyes as shocked covers her face.

        "What?! Do you know what you are saying? I don't even know you!" She exclaimed as she stand up. The stranger suddenly hold her hand and looks around as if someone is chasing him. She look at him confused and take her hand back. "Who told you to touch me-" she was cut off by the stranger and motion her to sit down again. "Wait- let me explain first." He said quickly. Sohyun look at him suspiciously but she just cross her arms and sit without uttering a word letting the stranger continue what he was saying.

      "First of all, my name is Jinhwan. There's a crazy girl who always pestering me and the only way she'd stop is I have girlfriend but I can't let any of my girl friends to pretend since the crazy girl knew my every friend. And now, I came here to ask someone to help me" he said sincerely but Sohyun is still suspicious about him.
"Then why me?" She asked while raising an eyebrow.

     "Because you're the only one who is alone." He said with a matter-of-fact-tone. She open to speak but close it again as she notice her surroundings that what he was saying is true. Couples are everywhere while some are with their friends. Indeed she's the only person who's alone. She didn't mind it though but when someone notice it bothers her making her pout. Suddenly, Jinhwan chuckled making Sohyun's attention turn to him. 

      "Why are you laughing?" She said as her eyebrows furrowed. 
"Sorry. It's just that you're so cute." He said and continue laughing making her blush into red tomato. She looks away as she puff her cheeks. After a while, he stop laughing and replace his expression into a serious one. 

       "So are you in?" He said seriously. Sohyun look confused with his sudden change of mood then she tap her chin as if she is thinking. "Hmmm. I'll agree to help you in one condition.." She stopped and grins making Jinhwan furrowed his eyebrows and ask. "What is it?" She slam her hands on the table and lean closer to him making him back away a little with a shocked expression then she whispers, "You will be the one who will pay for my house rent and utility bills until this deal ends..." She leans closer, "game?"

     Jinhwan snickers and also lean his face closer to her leaving an inch apart from their faces, "It's deal then." Sohyun noticed their face distance and she gulp before leaning back again to her seat then she wave her hands while she shook her head. "Wait! I was just kiddi-" She was interrupted when he suddenly spoke again. "Give me your phone" then he extended his hand. 

     "What for?" She questioned but Jinhwan answered her with a shrug and firmly said, "Just give me your phone." Sohyun hesitantly take out her phone and she stare at it before giving it to him. He quickly took it and press some buttons making Sohyun wonder. A little later, Jinhwan take it back to her with a wide grin on his face. "I save my number and from now on I'll call you from time to time." He stands up and walks infront of her then leans closer to her face "before I leave what's your name?" 

     Sohyun now notice how handsome Jinhwan is. He's perfectly build nose and mesmerizing eyes is gorgeous combination. "Lee Sohyun" she said almost a whisper. Jinhwan smiles from ear to ear and pecks Sohyun on the cheeks before leaving and making Sohyun in a state of shock and bewildered-ness.

     After a few months, Jinhwan is true to his words. He calls Sohyun every time. Literally, every time and ever since that day they are always together, acting like boyfriend-girlfriend just like what they planned. They are exchanging sweet words to each other, giving gifts, a little of holding hands and knowing each other's family. He also pays the utility bills of Sohyun. Their operation is almost at its success that the obsessed girl give up. Now, the two are on their last date since their operation is a success.

     "So this it. It's over." Sohyun said with teary eyes but she tried to smile. Jinhwan suddenly hug her tight making Sohyun gasps. "No. I don't want to leave you. I don't to end this dream. Every time I'm on your side, it feels like I'm on my own fantasy. Every day I'm with you my happiness can compare to nothing. You never fail to make my heart beats fast every time you smile. You melt me with your stares. Your laugh is music to my ears. Each and passing day, I never realized that I'm falling for you. Yes, I love you Sohyun, please be mine for real..." He said and leans back to look at her in the eyes while cupping her face....
