“I think I’m in trouble” I whispered to myself as I inspected my surroundings. To be honest I was gaping at the huge iron gate that separated me from my destination- the trainer’s court. It was a silly mistake on my part. I was instructed to stay as close to the court as possible, without attracting any sort of attention to myself. Obviously I failed to listen because here I was, gaining firsthand experience of the idiom ‘curiosity killed the cat’. What was specifically terrifying about my situation was the fact that the idiom might apply to me in the most literal sense.
