"Noona I want to be your Oppa." Those were the words that Namjoon had uttered and instantly wished he could take back. He wished the floor would swallow him up as the older girl stared at him and was obviously holding back her laughter. He wanted to melt and seep into the ground. He was beseeching an alien spaceship to appear and zap him to nothingness.

"What was that Namjoon?" She asked her voice laced with amusement.

"Nothing. Please excuse me." He said, his brain ordering him to run away but his feet weren't cooperating. He slowly turning around.

"Wait. NamJoon." She said and grasped his arm gently. 

"Noona- I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. Please disregard what I just said." NamJoon muttered staring at the ground. 

"Look at me." She ordered softly and he felt his chin being lifted up by two of her fingers. He found himself lost in her eyes and his heartbeat thundered in his ears. 

"I can't disregard those words. We're they real Namjoon?"He was still lost in her eyes. Her warm breath on his face. 

"NamJoon do you like me?" She asked without any beating around the bush. "Namjoon?"

"Y-yes Noona. I do." He said and closed his eyes. He can't bear to see the rejection in those warm eyes. He started to move away but she stopped him again.

"Silly boy. Why are you running away?"

"Because I- I- I don't know."

"I thought you wanted to be my Oppa? Hmm?"

"Buwhuh?"

"Here you are finally having the courage to say those words and yet you want to run away. Where's the swaggy Rap Monster?"

"Gone. This is an embarrassed Kim NmJoon."

"That's okay. I like Kim NamJoon better anyway."

"Wa -wha -what? Really Noona?"

She grinned at him and pinched his nose.

And that was how the two of them started, Choi Hyerin and her pocket monster named NamJoon.
