Earth is on the brink of destruction; it has been for over a thousand years. With space travel rapidly developing, scientists seek to further engage resources found elsewhere—they succeed, and now they're sending people to live in outer space: pioneer batch, volunteer only.
Thing is, they've also found a way to bestow superpowers on humans.
