Foreword

This story is a creepypasta written my yours truly. It might be scary for some people, so if you scare easily or have a very vidvid imagination, i am warning you now, it may scare you and/or cause nightmares. So without further adieu, Natalya!!!

I stood silently in the center of my room, swallowed by the screaming darkness of the night. There was a terrible, ominous presence, disturbing me. Sending pings of fear, nervousness and some unbearably horrid feeling through my every nerve. I glanced at the clock, seeing it read three o-clock. This can’t be good…

Who’s there…? I thought, but wasn’t cliché enough to speak it aloud.

As soon as the last word formed in my mind, a strange, warm feeling engulfed my freezing body. The warmth wasn’t distressing, though. It was a comfortable, soothing feeling. One that protected me from the stabbing, cold winter winds.

A light rustle came from outside my window, followed by a light tapping. I swirled around on my heel, staring at the window as the tapping came again.

I didn’t open the door for fear of the possible evil entities that could be awaiting the stupidity of their next victim.

“Fear not, my dear child, for I shall not harm you.” The voice was soft, but powerful. Graceful and sweet, but harsh. It was a woman’s voice, echoing in my mind as if not spoken aloud. And perhaps it wasn’t.

Who…who are you? I thought, but again didn’t speak.

“Who am I? That is an insignificant question at the present time.”

Whoever it was could hear every single thought rushing through the jumbled mess that was the current state of my mind.

“And I suppose you expect you me to let you into my room?” I asked with a slight edge to my voice.

“Yes, of course sweet girl. Am I expected to speak with you out in the cold?” She questioned, putting emphasis on ‘expected’, mimicking my speech, as though seeking my approval.

Hesitantly, I crawled across my queen sized bed to the window on the far wall of my room. Pulling the drawstrings forcefully, I began to open my window, which was glazed over with ice from the frozen dew.

My blinds flew open and a scream tore from my throat at the sight of a truly horrendous thing floating outside my window. It was positioned like it was lying flat on its stomach, comfortably. The thing’s hair was stringy, although floating around its body as if it was underwater. The creature’s body was bony. Its skeleton looked as though it would tear through the thin, rotting flesh that was supposed to protect it at any given moment. It had small s, indicating that it was a female.

But the most hideous thing about it was the face. Her eyes were nothing but gaping black holes with blood crusted around it, and dripping from the empty sockets. She had no nose, no mouth. At least, none that I could see. Her skin was cracked, and bruised, rotting in places, oozing off her at others. The bones on the right side of her jaw could be seen, creating a permanent smile.

I threw myself off my bed, running out my door, checking every door and window to make sure they were locked. In my kitchen, I flung open the drawer with my knives, pulling out the largest one I could find; one with an 8-inch blade and four inch handle. Freshly sharpened, and, in this case, ready to kill if I have to.

Running into the bathroom with a flashlight, I locked the door, kept the light off, and hid in my bathtub, pulling the curtain to cover myself. The flashlight flickered on as I flipped the switch, and revealed her. The thing.

A scream formed in my mouth, but when I opened it, no sound came out.

Then, her face where her lips would be distorted, to show me that I was very wrong. She had a mouth; large and filled with rows of sharp teeth. Saliva dripped out of and created a small bridged between a few teeth. A dreadful roar came from , and bodily fluids splashed across my face.

This time, I did scream. I cried out vociferously, challenging her horrid roar. Then I remembered that, clutched tightly in my hands, was a knife.

I threw myself at the awful creature, my weapon leading me, piercing straight into where her heart would be. Blood burbled out of her chest as I kicked the knife in deeper. Running out of the bathroom, I grabbed my sage bundle and a lighter out of the cabinet and ran back into the room with the evil entity. But by then, she was gone.

“Alright you stupid , where are you?” I yelled into the empty room.

Hiding the sage and lighter inside my bra, I searched the room, until I saw the terrible being hunched over in a corner, weeping disgustingly.

I walked over to her, standing up straight, head held high, still hiding the sage in my bra. At this point, I was far from pleased with the current situation. I was ready for bed, and this thing in my house was disturbing that. And I don’t let that go by unaddressed.

She started growling angrily, hissing and baring her painfully sharp teeth at me. And the closer I got, the louder she growled. But I didn’t care. Because I had something I knew could drive her away.

“Now you listen to me, and you listen well. I’ll give you one chance to get your out of this house. I’m done playing around, and I’m pretty damn pissed off. I was trying to sleep, and you woke me up. So, before you regret ever coming here, get out of this house.”

She screeched, obviously about to pounce.

I fumbled for the sage and lighter, pulling them both out of my bra and setting fire to the bundle of sage. “I said out!” I yelled with force and an anger in my voice that I’d never heard before.

The thing in the corner screamed horrifyingly. A sound that could burst my eardrums and make my ears bleed. She started literally ripping out her hair and pulling her skin off. Her back bent in inhuman ways and her bones tore through her skin with a repugnant ripping sound. She screeched for me to stop, blood streaming out of her eyes as if she was crying.

Slowly, her body began to fade away, and her screams began to die down. Within a few seconds, she was completely gone. But her voice whispered in my mind.

I am Natalya. Never forget what you have seen this night, and await my return. It will come sooner than your small, human mind can comprehend. And then, you will become my next meal. Your beautiful smelling blood will be mine at last. The purity of your heart will be my meal. I long for the day when those beautiful eyes will at last belong to me; a remembrance of the best meal I’ve ever had. It’s coming. And when it does, you won’t escape death’s cold grip.
