Kaia Kanaka: main character, the one that carries the family name of the mother. Long light brown hair, turquoise blue eyes (ocean color), 15 years old, the youngest of the family, can speak four languages: English, Hawaiian, Japanese and Korean.

Michael Lee: Father of Kaia, 50 years old, he takes care only of his eldest daughter and has always neglected his youngest daughter, he has a company in California

Liko Lee: Older Brother of Kaia. He has light brown short hair and brown eyes. It looks a lot like of Kaia except for the eyes. He left Hawaii after the death of their mother. He now works in South Korea in a big company. He is 24 years old.
