"Darling... Which one should I get for the prom night?" GuiGui said as she looked around.

"I don't know , suits you. I am leaving at 5 , who's gonna bring you back?" Mike asked.

"Genie and her boyfriend, where are you going?" GuiGui said.

"Work" Mike replied simply.

After GuiGui bought her things , she gave Mike a peck on the cheek and said goodbye.

Somehow , or something , just didn't feel right...

~GuiGui's pov~

"Gui! Here!" Genie shouted.

I walked over to her and got in her boyfriend's car.

"Hey Aaron" I said as I got in the car.

I looked at the rear mirror and saw him staring at me.

My heart raced and I looked down blushing.

"Gui , why is your face so red?" Genie asked.

"I..I.." I couldn't find my words... WHY?

I looked at Aaron again and he looked the other side, is he teasing me?!

"Nothing" I said and smiled to Genie.

~One week later~

"Why?" I asked as tears fell down my cheek like water taps.

"Because ... I don't love you anymore" Mike replied.

"Mike.. I.. What did I do wrong? I can change , I can change myself for you..." I said desperately.

"Gui... We're over..." Mike said.

I held on to his arm , begging him not to go.

He looked at me mercilessly and took my hand off his arms.

Great, my boyfriend just left me , and my prom night is just 1 week away.

I kept walking and walking, when I looked up , I was at Genie's house.

DingDong~

I rang the doorbell and Genie opened her door.

"Oh My God! Gui! What happened? Your eyes are swollen!" Genie asked worriedly as she led me inside her house.

I sat down on the couch and said "Mike... He left me..."

My tears started falling again as Genie hugged me.

"Nevermind , it isn't worth it..." Genie said as she comforted me.

How can I live without this bestfriend?

"Genie , I-" A familiar voice said.

I looked up and saw Aaron , Genie than put her finger to her lips.

"What can I do now? The prom is only like 1 week away..." I asked Genie.

Genie thought about it and said " Why don't I lend Aaron to you?"

I frowned and said " Lend Aaron to me? What about you?"

Genie smiled and said " I'm going to Florida 3 days later , and Aaron does not have a date"

I looked at Aaron and he shifted awkwardly.

"I don't think he wants it..." I said.

Genie looked at Aaron and Aaron nodded.

"It's settled now." Genie said and gave me a reassuring smile.

~1 week later~

I rushed to my wardrobe and picked out my prom night dress.

I quickly applied my make up and smiled.

DingDong~

The doorbell rang and I rushed down.

I opened the door and Aaron was standing there , looking stunning handsome.

I smiled at him and said" Can we go now?"

No reply.

"Aaron?"

No reply.

"AARON!"

"Oh... sorry .. I was.  was.." Aaron stummered and looked down.

I smiled at his cute action and walked to his car.

I was now in the car , Aaron was driving.

I didn't realise I was looking at him.

His long eyelashes , deep brown eyes , perfect skin...

He turned around and smiled at me.

I felt a unknown feeling seep through me and I know I like it.

We reached and both of us walked in.

His "brothers" waved to him and he looked at me.

I slightly nodded and he walked away.

I walked to a table and took a glass of champange.

People were walking past me , smiling , talking , making out.

I thought of Mike , if he hadn't break up with me , we would have been making out now...

I laughed and my stupidness and thought of Aaron.

His mesmerising smile , his beautiful yet cute eyes.

A hand appeared in front of me and I looked up.

I stared into those same deep brown eyes.

I smiled at Aaron and shook my head gently.

He shook his head and put out his hand again.

I smiled at his cuteness and took his hand.

We danced , I can feel the limelight is on us.

I admit , I like this feeling.

We were close enough , I could feel his breathe.

His scent , so sweet....

I could feel my heart thumping hard against my chest.

After the dance , Aaron went back to his "brothers" again.

I shook my head , desperately trying to ditch all the thoughts of Aaron.

WHY AM I THINKING OF HIM?!

I saw Mike walked in the room and looked around.

He looked towards me and smiled.

Why not I get back with him? 

At least it will stop me from falling in love with Aaron.

I smiled at Mike and waved.

He started walking towards me and I walked towards him.

But... He walked past me.

I turned around slowly.

"Hebe!" Mike called out.

He went to her and they hugged.

They started making out.

I could feel hot tears rolling down my cheeks , but I didn't feel really sad.

It was embaressing , I covered my mouth and rushed outside to the balcony.

The night stars are glistening as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"GuiGui , are you ok?" Aaron rushed to me.

He looked at me and hugged me.

"It's okay.. It's okay.." His soothing voice said.

I pulled away and our eyes met , he slowly leaned forward and our lips touched.

This moment , I never want it to end , I was melting into his embrace , the atmosphere was right.

GENIE! I suddenly thought about her.

I pushed Aaron away and slapped him.

"We can't do this to Genie! It's not fair to her! We can't!" I shouted at him and ran away.

"GuiGui!" I could hear him calling my name from behind.

I continued running , like I would never stop.

DingDong~

I rang Genie's doorbell and she opened the door.

"Gui? Why are you here?" She said , surprised.

I walked in and sat down.

"Genie... I'm sorry" I said.

"For?" Genie asked.

"I.. You must prepare for this" I said.

Genie nodded and sat back.

"I... Me and Aaron kissed" I breathed in and said.

I waited for her reaction and she suddenly burst out laughing.

"WHAT?!" I said.

"Why are you saying sorry to me?" She asked.

"I... Isn't Aaron your boyfriend?" I said.

"He was, but we broke up two nights before the prom night" She said.

"I could tell that Aaron fancies you , I'm not blind , he looks at you differently" Genie said.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Aaron called me last night to tell me what happened." She said.

"You're not angry with Aaron?" I asked.

She shook her head and smiled.

"Nope , Love can't be forced , so , are you going to find Aaron now? I heard you slapped him" She teased.

I blushed and said "Genie!"

She laughed and said " But you really did! "

"Should I find Aaron?" I asked her.

I ran towards Aaron's house and knocked on his door.

He opened his door looking surpirsed.

"GuiGui?" He said.

I smiled at him and said " Sorry I misunderstood you yesterday..."

He smiled and shook his head.

"I.. I have fallen in love with you" Aaron said in a sudden.

"Wh...Wha..t?" I stuttered and blinked my eyes even though I already knew it.

He looked down and blushed.

"Yeah... Genie told me...I..I.. " I said.

He looked up to me and started to lean forward.

I blink nervously but he suddenly stopped moving forward.

"You won't push me away and slap me like yesterday right?" He said.

I smiled and leaned in to kiss him, of course he was shock. 

I than pulled back and said ,

"I won't"
