" Shanely!" 

"Shanely!"

i turn my head to see mass of fire engulfing the field around me " where am i" i yelled 

"Shanely" again a voice called out my name i turn around to see the younger me facing the fire

" Shanely..you have to go" my other me said i frown " go?..go where??" i ask 

she slowly turn to me to my shock half of her face was burnt badly

" go ..to the abyss" she added before the ground beneath me crumble causing me to full in the sea of fire

 

"AAH!" i yelled jumping out of my bed i was dripping in cold sweat as i looked the room. i wipe my sweat and looked out my window and saw dawn has just broke. i decide to head out early. not feeling comfortable sleeping back so i wash up and took my coat and head out lucky the assistant of the inn was already awake so i manage to give them the key back. there few stores open now, so i bought few bread and fruits for my journey. 

 

walking away from the village i started to wonder what my dreams were trying to warn me. it always seem to end up with me dying or people wanting me gone. shiver a bit before marching on over the hill. 

heading to the next town i wonder into the woods. back then i would get scared if i wonder off the road but now i feel sort a safe being in the forest. must be because i use be allies with them. during that time soon after walking hours in the woods i was finally found the edge of the woods where i could over see the next village. i smiled and headed down quickly to find a nice place to stay and rest my aching feet. but when i got  there it was sort unexpected, the moment i entered the town something felt wrong.

 the atmosphere here was so heavy and dark almost intoxicating , the people seem scared, there were no children running around and theres this rotten smell i just cant identify.

i look at the people they seem to be suspicious and cautious  around  me. i tried buying something form one of the stores but the lady there just scream at me to go away. i farther deeper into town the more i go the feeling of me not wanted here grew. 

 

"HEY!!! COMEBACK HERE!!" a booming voice echoed through the alley ways of this gloomy town. i saw the people scrambling into their homes, as i heard thing breaking and being thrown in the distance.  out of curiosity i followed the noises were. i hide behind a wall as i reach the source of the noise to see infront of a huge mansion there stood scrawny man holding a sword that was twice his size pointing it to a man. who was already wounded and battered.

" what are you suicide? trying to still from our boss..ha..dream on kid" the scrawny man mocked as he  jabbed the man shoulder with his sword making the other yelled in pain, i looked around and saw the people of this town were just watching and had no intention to help. 

"what wrong with this people?

 the wounded man on the ground panting and hissing form the pain " well... boy before i kill you any last words?" he ask 

the latter turn over and hiss out " die you ing retard that goes to your coward boss aswell !!!" he hissed which infuriated the other he swang his sword ready to kill, like brave soul that i am i grab the nearest object to me and threw it at him hitting him on the head. knocking him out , well i didn't except to threw a break to his head. anyway i rushed over to the wounded man who seemly semi conscious 

" hey, hey stay with me here..do have a home or..or a place to stay?" i ask in panic hearing marching sound coming form the distant 

the he muttered something  " ing leave me alone"  i frown and drop his head on the ground. knocking him out in split with that i  grab arm and pulled it over my shoulder and carried him away. i bought him out of the town and into the forest where nurse him back. even thought he was rude he is sill pitiful with all this wounds he got.  when i was cleaning his wound i whip his hair p to see he was handsome young man.

he doesnt look like the type that would cause trouble.

afternoon passed and night has fallen i pilled up tree branches and made fire. good thing uncle jiyong thought me camping basics. anyway i pulled my coat closer to my body.

"arrg" groan the handsome young man  i walk over to him as he stir in his make shift bed and open his eyes. and stared up to me  i was about ask how was he when he suddenly jump back and lean on to the tree behind him " who..who are you?" he ask cautiously 

i pouted " i was the one that save you" i told him. he tilted his head to side looking confused then realized something " oh..your the idiot that threw a break to Mockface head!" he exclaimed pointing a finger at me i frown and pushed down his finger and nodded

" i presume mockface is the man that was trying to kill you then... yes i was the one" i told him .

"that was dumb..now that guy will be after you too" he said " were you even thinking you did that" he mock. i frown more " well excuse me i was trying to help !" i yelled 

"i didnt ask for your help!" he yelled back we both grumbled at each other before turning away." arrgh whatever rest up you wound are still fresh from today" i told him as i turn back to the flames.

the young man remain silent and did as i told him and laid back down on the make shift bed i made. "why'd you help me?" he ask i glance over and saw his back facing me, i sighed and answered " do i need a reason to help someone"

i heard rustling on his bed " whatever "  he muttered i shrugged and looked back to the flames. i closed my eyes and somehow drifted to sleep when i woke up the fire had already died out and i was laying on the ground. i sat up and turn around to see the young man was gone. he must have left when i was asleep.then i heard twigs breaking from behind i quickly turn around to see the youngman walking out with an apple in both hands

"awh..i see your awake" he muttered walking over and throwing one apple to me. "uh..thanks" i muttered as i took the apple he sat beside me but with few distance between us "no need..that just for saving my ..even if i didn't need your help" he said as he munch on his apple. i scowled at him for a second before eating my apple.

 

"anyway why was that beating you?" i ask looking at him " i was trying to steal something back" he said i raised a brow "and whats that?" he looked at me and flicked my forehead "none of your business" he said.

i pouted and went on finishing my apple " well..good luck on that i have to get going" i said as i stood up dusting off my skirt. i heard he scuff and said " i dont think so" he muttered i look down to him and frown " and why not?" i inquired he gave me a smug look and pointed at my belt i look down to see my poach that had all my money and my compass was gone " no way..where..where??" i look around the ground

"no use they got it"  the youngman pointed to the village i gape " and how did you know that?" i ask he shrugged " i saw them picked up when i went to the village. i thought it looked familiar turnout it was really yours" he chuckled

i groan and stomped my feet then stop " you went to the village?" i ask he nodded casually

 

" why?" he looked at me " none of business.." he stood up and dusted off some dirt on his pants " where are you going?" i ask grabbing his sleeves he frown at me and harshly pulled his hand sleeves away 

"back to the town i'm going back to get thing they stole from me" he said

"lets work together!" i yelp but the youngman rolled eyes " look i work alone..i dont work with anyone especially with a kid" he gestured to me i gape more kid!? i'm a grown woman! and Queen!

well not that he knows. i just stared at him as he walk away "how rude" i muttered stomping my feet. 

i have to get back my poach. 

that afternoon i head own to the village and check around the mansion i saw before  there i saw the same scrawny guy form before with a big bruise on his head, i must thrown it pretty hard.

i look around the mansion looking for place to get in but nothing all the spots were guarded i huffed i have to improvise. 

"hey..i heard tonight there will be new supply of weapons for them arriving tonight" i heard an old muttered to another

"really?..oh dear lord that not god" the other whimpered 

i smiled to myself " bingo".

 

as night fell as the lady in market said 3 carriages arrive loading new set of different weapons while the guards and deliverers were busy i quietly slide under the carriage and held on tight on either side gap for the wheels. 

i watch as it enters the mansion and head to what it seem to be a huge barn house full of weapons and hot steaming lava. i look left and right when the carriage pulled to a stop. checking to see no one will see me once it was clear i slide into the closes door there was. the room i entered looked like a laundry room. clothes hanging around. i pursed my lips and looked at my attire " i'll get found easily wearing a skirt and hood better disguise my self" i muttered as i picked some clothes that will fit me. 

i found i liked my set of clothes which felt better than my old one. i clip on my short sword and put on coat before heading up to the stairs once i got to the hallway i put on the hat i grab and walk on the hallways, i passed by a few people but they don't seem to be a least suspicious of me. maybe cause its dark.

the halls were dark the only source of light was the light shining form the moon. after walking around different floor for a couple of minutes i came to realizes this place was to huge for me to search.

"dang if i was leader where would i hide my steals" i muttered as i stop an think for second. then i heard couple of men walking by talking " man..i wish i can go to the bosses secret room..and see how much gold his hiding in there" one man muttered

well arent i lucky today.

"yeah half of our steals goes there" the other answered. i looked at them and patted their backs 

"huh hey...what this secret room your talking about?" i ask in my man voice the two man looked at me oddly 

"what do mean what...you know the secret room the boss has hidden inside his room, where put half of the steals we take" one with a tattoo dragon on his face said. 

"everyone knows that ..why dont you?" the other with bear tattoo on his side neck ask suspicious i back up alittle getting a bit nervous

"well..cause..i'm n-new" i stuttered the look each and lean back "ah new recruit why didn't you tell us" they started laughing and harshly patting my back. "that why you dont seem familiar to us kid.." the one with dragon said as he put his arm around me 

"scrawny one arent ya" the one with the bear said " i am but i'm fast on my feet" i said in man voice

"ya dont say...well kid since your new why dont you hang with us"  they said. i smiled and nodded 

"why dont we start showing you around" they unioned as they dragged me away.

they seem friendly for thugs. and they did they showed me the torture room, the red room, the training room,the laundry room, the weapon room, the killing room.

"wheres the boss room?" i ask they stop and looked at me "why do you ask?"  Dragnit ask his the one with dragon tattoo. "well...maybe i'll get called by him oneday and it less hustle if i know where to find his room" i said. Marco the one with the bear tattoo laughed while patting my shoulder

"big dreamer arent ya...but that wont happen anytime soon kid" he drag me other window and pointed a the tower "that tower there is the bosses room..." he said 

"way up there?" i inquired " yeah...form there he can see the whole village and it make him feel dominance" he added. 

i nodded then their stomach  started to growled " well that signed for dinner!" they called as they drag away again i look back to the tower. that where i'm heading

they drag me to the dinner hall where lots of thugs were eating dragnite and marco pulled over to where the food was serve and lead to an empty table where we ate. i pulled my hat down as i ate sensing i got a bit of attention.

"marco and dragnite whose this squirt here" boasted huge fat guy wearing one tight pants. 

"yo..fap..this is Zip" marco introduce me to the huge guy " zip?" he muttered before exploding into laughter " what a pathetic name" he laughed as he walk away i glance up to him under my hat.  

this my chance to get away form this too,

"yeah says the big fat guy calling himself Fap" i yelled out loud everyone in the room stop and silence shock i fought back. big Fap turn around  looking pissed off " what you say brat?"  he sneered i stood up and smirked

"you heard me pig face" i mocked and that got him he let a roar and charge at me i quickly kick the table toward him and he counter by flipping the up making the table hit other table to those who were eating silently and causing them to be angry and cause more chaos and a chain reaction began and by end everyone was in a fist fight while i safely crawled away  while people were busy. i swiftly run to the tower the said boss room. 

when i got to the door i found the door was semi open which i found weird i pulled the door open and crept inside quietly the room was dark and source of light was the moon like the halls but it bright enough for me to see no one was in room. or so i thought when i heard  rustling coming behind the table i crep over to it and see someone ramping through some book i jumped back when someone stood out suddenly form behind making both us scream from fright. 

 

it was the man fro before the one i helped. "YOU!" we unioned 

"what are doing here!" again we unioned as we pointed each other 

"SSSHH!" he hushed at each other  " what are you doing here?" i he hissed at me making me frown.

" i came here to get my paoch..and you?" i whispered 

"i came here to get what they stole form me" he answered. i frown and we both huffed together

"seem like we both have same business here... so truce?" he called i looked at him and scuffed and turn away 

he shrugged and went on looking " so if i guess right your looking for the secret room right?" i said as i look over the other shelves on the other side of the room. 

"yeah...my guess the hidden lever or whatever is hidden in this room, i just have to find it" he said as he look through the table

"isnt that obvious" i scuffed as i brush my finger over some books. i heard huffed " hey, instead of being such a how about helping huh?" i stop and look at him with a frown

he glared back to me "what?" he mocked in a challenging way. i rolled my eyes and pulled the book down where my stop and like that a scret door slid open next to me. 

to tell you the truth i want really expecting that book would be the lever but wanting to look cool , i look back him and scuffed 

"at least this knows where find things" i said as i ily walk into the secret passage. 

 

"hey wait up!" i heard call as he run behind me once the secret door closed the passages was consume in complete darkness "great how are we going to-" i started but stop when suddenly each torches started to light up on it own lighting the pathway.

"ok..creepy" the guy said which i can agree. we both slowly walk deeper into the tunnel unto we finally see the end we quickly run over only to we awed struck upon what we see. it was caven filled with colds and treasure. 

"woah..." i gasp as i look around the place. i flinch back when suddenly the young man jump and slide down the mountain of cold coins. 

"hey be careful!" i called. he jumped down safely and look at me " i'm fine so are you coming down or what?" he called. i lean back and look around and saw stairs " yeah..i'll take the stairs" i inquired 

"thats boring.." he uttered as he began digging through the tones of cold when i got to the bottom i started looking form my couch through the gold that was on the tables. 

after an hour there was no luck finding it " hey..any luck?" i called as look over the mountain of gold to see a head peep out.

 

"what do you think" the young man gave me a flat look, i grin and went back digging "hey if you dont mind ... what are you looking for?" i ask as i check some small treasure box's 

for a momment he was silent i took as he didnt want to tell me at first before he soke softly 

"a necklace.." i stop and look over to him still looking through the gold " necklace?...is it special?" i wondered he stop and looked at me

" thats...a secret" before turn away. i frown a bit and want back looking 

"and you what so special about your pouch?" he ask i look back to him

he must be bored..

"a compass.." i answered " what a compass?..what so special about that?" he yelled. i look back to him

"its special to me...it belong to my late father" i said slowly 

"late?..you mean" he started before i cut him off 

"he died...both my parents are and that compass was the last thing i have of him" i stop as i sadly remember that day. i shook my head and went on looking  the young man didnt say anything else after words. 

 

"uh" i uttered as i saw something underneath some gold i dig more and saw my pouch " here you are!" i gleed holding it up. 

i open inside and see the money and compass was still there " thank goodness" i muttered as i tied it around my belt. 

"you found yours already?" i look to see the young man peeping over, i smiled and nodded " and you?" i inquired he shook his head and went on digging i went up next to him and started digging with him

"what are you doing?" he ask i continued to dig as answered him " helping you" i answered 

 

i heard scuffed " do you even know what it looks like?"  i stop digging and look over to him " then tell me" i ask i gave him look which made him sigh " whatever..it has 3 blue gems and gold chains" he said as he dig

i nodded and dig more when suddenly we heard a loud clang sound coming form the tunnel and voices as well " someone coming" the young man hissed as he dive into the mountain of coin while i remain stoic and still not sure what to do. i heard a grunt before i was pulled down and into the mountain of coins  with the young man next to me whispering " dont move" i remain still with my face facing his chest i blush a bit i never been this close to a man before other than my uncles. 

"those fools !" a loud voice echoed all over the cavern " fighting over something pity and being fooled..we dont have any new recruiters! find that person and...." the loud booming voice stop making me a bit nervous

"boss something wrong?"  another voice spoke

"someone has been in here" the booming spoke cautiously i heard the grinding sound of a large sword being pulled out of its sheath

"impossible" the other voice spoke " no one knows this place bu-" but he was  cut off when other shouted

"Quite! i know someone been here and is still here" he growled loudly then we heard a loud thud sound and the mountain of cold shook a bit like something heavy fell.

"come out you rat.. i know your here i can practically smell you" he growled as walked around

"...i forgot who this guy was" the young man hissed i look up to him and gave him a poke he glance down to me before looking back up " his called the Hound..and like his name he has a nose like a hunting hound..he can tract you down and fine you no matter where you hide as long as he got your scent"  he whispered lowly he looked serious but change into a grimace.

" but cant say much about his looks" he added i frown and looked over through the small gap made by the tones of coins covering us and saw a big fat man wearing a long violet coat that looked to fitting for him and lots of jewelry hanging by his neck and on his fat hands. he swung his  around sniffing the air like a dog.  then sneeze away 

 

"Gron! for bloody i told you not to fart if your near me! and do i smell a dirty sock!" he shouted up to other "sorry sir..i couldn't help it" Hound scuffed continued to search the area 

"his going to find us" i muttered he was getting close " no he wont just stand still" he muttered gritting his teeth together. 

but suddenly i saw the bigger guy making eye contact to the guy over and he had evil smirk on as he walk away. i heard the younger man sigh in relief but i wasnt convince i closed my eyes and listen carefully, i listen to every sound of the caven and there i heard light foot step charging over our way i snap my eyes open and roughly pushed the young man away and out of our hidding palce just in time when hounds men swung his sword on us. 

"wah!...." the young man gasp as land over to the right, i rolled over to my feet and stood up

"well..well...its you again...didnt you learn the last time you tired to steal form me, Kyu" he laughed my eye snap open and looked back to young man 

"Kyu....you mean your Kyu the thief that steals form Nobles houses" i exclaimed the said person frown and sighed 

"yeah..thats me and .. i did not steal form you..you stole form me you jackass" he muttered as he stood up his eyes hot open and flared in anger " why are wearing that" he growled , i look on over to the fat guy and saw he was wearing a necklace that resemble what kyu was looking for

"oh..this i just it looked lovely on my neck dont you think?" he smirked, i saw the angry look on kyu face before he charge on over to him 

"no wait Kyu!" i shouted but it was too late he draw out his sword and swung his sword over to hound but his attack was block by hound men gron 

"grrrr...why you" kyu growled "come on pretty boy lets dance!" Gron roared as he swung his sword pushing Kyu back.

as they clash swords, i was startled when a large sword swung at me. lucky i mange to dodge it by a hair. 

"Kid!" i heard Kyu yelled as i rolled over away form Hound 

"while they dance how we do to little man" he grin, i frown " little man?" i muttered i look down and remember i was wearing man clothes

"do they really think i'm a guy" i shook my head and turn back a bit and held onto the handle of my short sword. 

"well then let dance then big guy" i smirk.
